As a NJ fan, no thanks. Not right now for the price they will want. |

I’d may be give you a 5th for boeser.
Another canuck that blows.
Hughes DEFINITELY wants out of the loser franchise (lost EVERY YEAR in existence)
Americans never want to really play in Canada.

Just wait 4 years and get him for nothing. His next contract is in NJ. He’ll hold all the cards soon enough. |

Bertuzzi is nearly 28 years old and hasn't even played 300 games yet, He is clearly a bad investment, Not unlike Waddell in Carolina acquiring Pacioretty and Kase, The evidence clearly says stay away but yet GMs go for it anyway expecting different results. So so stupid. |

On Tyler Bertuzzi….
The Leafs, Florida and the Kings are all interested
Bertuzzi didn't even want to visit Canada, why would he want to live there?

Now now. What did we say about peddling misinformation. |

Quinn Hughes being tied to New Jersey. Big surprise. Like how Gaudreau would either sign in Jersey or Philly. Or how Taylor Hall will only sign in Calgary where he was born.
Also, are you saying that teams enquiring about Patrick Kane haven't been communicated any trade expectations from Chicago. Like we know he has a NMC and controls what happens, but surely Chicago would have given some basic parameters of what they are looking for.
And what is Kane's injury status? He missed 3 hockey games this year. He's played the last 5 games. They just played back-to-back where he logged 19 minutes followed by almost 23 minutes. Seems healthy to me. What are your sources saying? |

Maybe Ek and Sid Seixeiro can team up on a HUGE scoop and expose the Hughes family as Canadian haters...then Sid can go into a big Karen hissy fit on how everyone should be fined 10 million if they watch any games they play in. |

The only people who think the Avs are 'desperate' for a 2C are national writers who don't actually follow the Avs. Rodrigues is on track for a career year. Compher is on track for a career year. Newhook looks better every game and has 6 points in his last 5 games. Kadri's ~45 points a season (excluding last year) are covered. You know what they really need? A replacement for Burakovsky. And I'm pretty sure that's what we'll see them pursue. But what do I know, I just watch all of their games. |

I just ran a realistic simulation of this on nhl 2023 as the Toronto maple leafs, and I was able to acquire Q Hughes for Kerfoot, Holl & 3- 7th rd picks.
It’s noteworthy that Vancouver retained 1M/season in cap as well to make the numbers work. |

Solid burn.
Now let's hear who is chomping to play in Buffalo? |

Colorado definitely needs a 2 center, Rodrigues is a 4 and Compher is a better LW, The Avs also need more depth offensively and a healthy Landeskog. |
