I missed the hit. Not picking he hasn’t been the same since the injury yet. You can tell he is fighting it right now. Really needs to get fully recovered over the next 10 days off
- TPC

It was clean. From the side. I think Lindgren had the same type of hit against him awhile back.

Absolutely not. I think you might not know a whole lot about how to not get into mortal feuds with people

I just don’t like gg. Plain and simple. I’m sure if we don’t at least get back to the ECF he’s gone anyway. But until then, I’m not his biggest fan. I think you know plenty and I agree with you on things

Straight facts. Can't knock you on this one!!

sorry but we have a really hard time giving the other team credit around here, dont mind us
- jimbro83

Some big head analysts are complaining that Matthews is leading the league in shots blocks (forwards) saying he shouldn’t be doing it given chances of injury.

so if things go bad, we can't blame the coach. but if they go well, the coach gets all the credit? neither are absolute TJ lol
- Mtlca66

Dude. TJ is all about absolutism. Dog on bone. 100% in or 100% out.
No hate here, TJ. Just what I get from the eye test!

look, my opinion on that is that there is a 150% chance you guys are playing Tampa in the 1st round of the playoffs no matter what happens the rest of the year and you want him to be 100% when that series starts

It’s just such a cop out to blame the coach when things go bad. And they ain’t even bad

I still didn't like it. It seemed that had the Leaf player not turned at the last moment, it would've been right in the numbers. That close to the boards, that's a problem. Not saying Kreids had any intent to injure, it happens too fast. But, maybe that's a bump or tie up, not hit situation.

careful, people will assume you want him fired with a valid opinion like that
- Mtlca66

I think people know - or they should - I am fair and balanced. Call out the good when warranted as well as the bad and don’t have an agenda. Every coach has a shelf life. Every coach will and should draw criticism when warranted. I will call out his failures when deserved, but not on a witch hunt to get him removed. i may disagree with moves but also recognize the team is in the position it is because of - and at times despite - him.

I find that they’re a far fewer “because ofs” Than there are “despite’s” but yea, this is more or less my view

Agree about the shelf life but I don’t think his has reached it yet. Line combos aside I don’t see where he’s an issue, but I get what’s he’s trying to do. Just wish it wouldn’t take so long

This is what I wrote late night, and when get to a blog, will include there:
Better questions are: why did Gallant take a time out late instead of shifting the lines? Why not move Kakko up to top line and double shift him? Why is Miller on and not Fox in OT? Why did Bread let Marner go and where were Zib and Miller on that play? How the heck did Kreider miss an open net?

Problems start directly at the top to b honest. Bleak outlook.

@jangelooff
In a rare and wild public interview, James Dolan just told Fox 5 that he won't back down from MSG's facial recognition technology policy, invoked the Godfather, railed against bail reform and migrants, and vowed to ban booze at an upcoming Rangers game (in protest of the

The facial recognition is a real thing. My father is a partner in a law firm and they had a case against Dolan years ago. The partner went into MSG for a Rangers game and immediately escorted out. True story. He ended up getting a call from Dolan a couple days later apologizing because they settled and made a mistake. He ended up giving the guy free floor Bruce Springsteen tickets.

Mitch Marner is a goddamn fantastic player, he just plain beat out two world class players and a world class goalie and scored a highlight reel goal

These lost points will cause headaches later, bank on it. Whether it is fighting for home ice in the playoffs or even making it at all. So yea, I don't put stock in how we play in 3v3 OT, I do in the fact that we could've gotten 2 points. At least this was against a good team

It was a “good road point” as they say. They made it 1-0 I thought we could be in for a long night

Im not worried about not making the playoffs, and although I would of course rather have home ice advantage, this team actually plays better on the road anyway

if the Rangers miss the playoffs and there is no catostrophic injury to blame, then yeah, Gallant absolutely should be on firing line

but I am almost certain we are finishing 2nd or 3rd in division

I just wanna go into playoffs 100% healthy

Yeah, thats kind of what I'm saying, Tony. Its clean by league standards but I don't like it. I'm all about big clean hits, unscripted fights, etc. Don't know how they could make it a penalty though.
