Surprised Chytil didn’t get the first shift in OT with how he played tonight |

kids looked great all night and they had the least ice time of all forwards outside the 4th line. makes no sense. |

I like the kid line together. They really need to make a trade. Can’t have both Vesey and Goodrow in the top 6 |

He should also replace Troch on Pp1.
Love to see a line of Panarin Chytil and Kakko -I dont think we have ever seen that combo |

Problem is who? If its not Kane. It would be nice to try to swing a deal for Tarasenko and Acciari. However… who? Duclair was mentioned but is he that much of a game changer? Who else is there? |

The kid line didn’t even see the ice in the last 5 minutes of the game. |

We don’t need a superstar. I think we need to get a LHD, 4th line center (can’t have Brodzinski and Lyschchn come playoff time) and physical middle 6 winger.
Kunin would be perfect as our 4C, SJ is having a fire sale so I’m sure everyone is available. Greenway could be a good fit in the middle 6 for the playoffs and LHD I’d prefer someone that plays a “playoff” style game. |

Don’t know why they didn’t start 2 of the kids in OT. Can clearly see being at the game they were the best line by far. |

Greenway has two more years left after this one at $3 mil per and Minnesota is in the playoff hunt. Why are they moving him and how do you fit in that cap hit? |

Better questions are: why did Gallant take a time out late instead of shifting the lines? Why not move Kakko up to top line and double shift him? Why is Miller on and not Fox in OT? Why did Bread let Marner go and where were Zib and Miller on that play? How the heck did Kreider miss an open net? |

I was sitting right behind the net 300 level for the Kreider miss and OT goal |

It was a good game we got a point. Tough place to get it too. This team is going places if he keeps the kids together. There is absolutely no reason to have them apart they play better together, it’s clear as day. Laf especially, he looks reborn last two games |

Acciari is my suggestion for 4C.
You guys think the Rangers would be willing to burn a year on Othmanns ELC to get him in the lineup? He could play RW with Kreider and Trochek, plays a similar style hockey as them…
For LD, my suggestion is Olli Maatta, guy played in 2 SC wins with the Pens. |

That would be something. I just don’t think they’d feel comfortable this late in the season. Very similar to Kreider tho so he could really help him if they did that
LHD is the least necessary imo. If they trade a first for Gavrikov or something I may go full nutso lol if they do trade a first it should be a RW without question, doesn’t have to be Kane btw. Or Tarasenko. But a shoot first guy. Ideally the 4th line is Goodrow centers, Vesey and Gauthier/Cuylle. The only way to do that is trade. Vesey is like Hunt but better, but where he should only be a filler in the top 6, or 9. Kravtsov is the one that needs to step up now and then we’d be set |

First off, I am completely against Gavrikov and any Dman of similar level unless someone wants to give him away for nothing. Thats why I want Maatta, hes on an expiring contract, hes got experience and he shouldnt cost much to acquire.
Secondly, Acciari, he would be our 4C, hes also on an expiring contract, hes physical, wins faceoffs and can throw a few points up there. 10g, 18pts, 53% FO%, 140 hits.
Kravtsov needs to do this or that, hes been on every line, I just dont see that fire in him. I think he is what he is here and we should probably cut bait.
Ive mentioned Christian Fischer, hes definitely got all the physical tools, and Im pretty sure hes got some offensive game to him based on his earlier years. Hes got 8g 15pts so far, 88 hits, 25-30pts from a bottom 6 guy is fantastic.
Leaves us with…
Panarin, Zib, ______
LAF, Chytil, Kakko
Kreider, Trochek, Fischer
Goodrow, Acciari, Vesey
What to do with that blank spot… |

MINN is shopping him, they can’t fit him next year with their cap situation and I guess feel they can get a better return now than at the draft. He’s having a terrible year so I don’t think he’d cost much. If we can’t fit him next year flip him at the draft to recoup some of what we paid for him. |
