You could be correct. The Deserve to Win graphic is Money Puck. Their model is weighted defiantly. They place more emphasis on expected goals. And the Leafs were the superior team in that respect. - tomburton99
I thought the Rangers were the better team for the first 2 periods.
I think the Leafs had the Rangers on their heels in the third period and deserved to tie the game.

A true miracle they made the ECF last year with him behind the bench. Miracles do happen I tell ya! - Slimtj100

I don't there will ever be a coach anybody likes
good news is that in the playoffs there is no 3 on 3 overtime though - jimbro83

This 100%. I have been on here through several coaches and every single coach was awful. |

I thought it was a fun game. Both teams had their moments. The result sucked for us |

38.7% - picklerick
to trochek's 56.6
it's not overblown, its a huge disparity between two players playing the same position. any coach is going to go to 16 in this scenario, and that's going to limit the kid lines' ice time in crucial situations.
now can/should GG adjust to get them more ice time? like throw out 16 just for a draw and then get 72 on w/ 12/24? yeah probably. |

I don’t think gallant should be fired or as bad as people make him out to be. That being said he has major flaws and you can see why his welcome is worn out quickly.
AV made the ecf and finals. You could easily point to Lou and Hank being those reasonS. He was exposed elsewhere - nyrangers2
All coaches have an expiration date, GGs isn’t here yet
All I know is everyone’s favorite player, Chytil, has never been better under this coach. Same for miller. Couldn’t possibly have anything to do with the coach tho

yep, and after this guy is gone, the next guy will be hated just as much
everybody should save time and make a document and save their comments, so they can just cut and paste for the next guy
none of this changes the fact that whoever they meet in round 1 of the playoffs in 2023 is gonna be a doozy

I'm not saying you specifically, just the sentiment of the blog, that the majority will always blame the coach. Sometimes its warranted, sometimes its not. |

It's not the coach's fault Kreider missed a gimme that would have put the game away |

For me last night it all boils down to Kreids missing the open net, not covering on the tying goal, and Panarin, Zib, Miller all in lala land in OT. |

It’s not like there is a different answer out there anyway. Trotz? He “kills prospects” too (according to islander fans) We want Boudreau? Who just got fired for a 3rd time? I think lol.
And this guy brought us to an ECF already! and people wonder why I’m nuts |
