Just checked out HFboards, what a horrible site!

If you look at HB's main page there aren't enough hit's to justify lot's of overhead. Mike is pretty well the best left. Between him and EK there isn't enough money to throw at bloggers unless you're an intern.

NJ and NYR were both teams looking at him to upgrade their wing. Allvin better answer when they call about Boeser.

Also why it was good that Van traded Horvat early because at least they got something this year compared to most.

I'll take steps in the right direction. Got rid of an expiring contract for a decent center prospect and a 1st round pick. Beauvillier was a player I wanted for cheap a few years ago. Before he signed his current contract.

Getting a little something for Schenn would be a little cherry on top.

As long as they don't screw it up and trade away that other first or something.

meh, it's outdated but I like it for the discussion sometimes. Also good to see how fans of other teams value their players and Canucks players. This site has what, like maybe 6 or 7 fanbases that actually have more than 5 regular posters? There's probably 100 or less regular posters left on this entire site.

HF is probably the closest you'll get to anything like it. Reddit, Twitter and Discord are all very different from typical message boards.


Also no political talk spilling over into hockey talk at HF which is a nice bonus

Look at who runs HB? EK & Mike are old school web guys, old technology. Same goes for HF boards. If they ran a more advanced platform they would attract way more users to both sites. This old school code became obsolete decades ago.

BS! Again it's old school technology on both sites. Use a better platform/coder which implements better SEO strategy across the web as well as other similar platforms. Keywords and solid content creation strategy would attract new users and make it easier for bloggers, advertisers and users.
