You didn't even know who he was.
I already said he'd been deplatformed and censored for his views.
What did you think that means?
You're attacking the person(me) and not the argument. That doctor is the most Cited and published cardiologist in history. You wanted to know the name of an expert, there's one. Go read the Twitter files to learn a little bit about how he was smeared by trash articles like you posted. His politics have nothing to do with his level of expertise.
The article adds words that he doesn't even say to impude him. He's talking about how the suppression of existing drugs was planned and the article inserts the word (pandemic) to imply that the doctor was saying that the pandemic was planned. Jesus that's the worse and least critically thought out retort of someone that I've read.
You're better then this.

Fact checking his claims, is not attacking you or him. I agree, his expertise is there, however this is a fact check on the things he has claimed. I don't have a horse in this race, I trust the scientific community, who do not support his claims. Very simple for me: he makes his money from people like you, just like J-Pederson.
This is why there is a special message board where special boys and girls can go and talk about these things and be upset with each other about it. I'm sticking to hockey from here on, but thanks I hadn't heard of him and went down the rabbit hole. Not at all compelled by him. |

I think he has 6-8 years, do you think his window is shorter?

Well said.
I used to care about the protocols of keeping Carol's blogs largely to hockey-talk (and occasional rugby talk with ASL), out of respect for her work.
Now that we don't have a blogger, I don't see the point tbh

To be fair there isn't a lot of hockey stories going on right now. I can see how the subject drifts. Doesn't mean I like the different topics, but I just pick the stuff I want to engage in and skim past the rest.

Pierre Luc Dubois rose up the rankings, everything a new ranking came out.
I would take Reinbacher at 4th. Pelikan if he is in the 2nd round, I think they consider it. - Reubenkincade

Pompous... oh, you mean my refusal to accept a political narrative as a fact?
Hypocritical? I'm not sure about that, I'm admittedly a pain in the ass to debate against because I tend to hammer away at a specific point until the point is made.
Like when I was called a liar for posting that healthy 6 to 19yo children were never at statistical risk of dying from covid and provided a published study from the UK showing the risk of death to a healthy under 19yo was literally 1 in a million?
I was told that 75 kids under 19 died.
So I asked for a single example of a healthy 6 to 19 year old who died of covid in BC.
And was called alt right and a spreader of lies.
Multiple pages of me asking for that single example let to not one being given but instead an ardent refusal to accept that I was right.
I mean, it's always hard to wake up to the fact that you're wrong in a blatantly disrespectful manner. But that doesn't mean I was being a hypocrite, pompous yes, liar, no. - Pres.cup
No โ again, it's not what you're saying, but how you're trying to create a dialogue.
Pompous in how you talk down to people in a holier-than-thou attitude.
Hypocritical in that (as one example) golfing asks you a direct question for proof, and you don't answer his question but spin it to go down your line of questioning and then get antagonistic that no one is answering your "direct question".
Is it civil to be an admitted "pain in the ass" to "hammer away at a specific point until the point is made"? I don't think so. I'd say it's hypocritical to say everyone is being uncivil without seeing yourself also being uncivil. |

No, I was talking about the Canucks not having a plan. Two other posters got the message.
I have no idea about Demko's future.

My bad... the quote you were quoting. Anyway, whatever the timeline IMO Demko will be good that long so we should keep him... if for any reason they think he is going cory schnieder and has one or two more good years, you have to turf him.

I think he has been up and down. I don't really have a clue how his final story will read.

Perhaps misguided is the best descriptor?
I don't think the need to have healthy 6-19 year olds vaccinated was about them being at some acute risk of dying from COVID, but more about trying to reduce symptoms, reduce need for them to go to hospital, reduce strain on an already overworked health system and ultimately, reduce the spread to those most vulnerable.
Just my .02 - dbot
Children were at such small risk that when they tested the vaccine on them there were not enough cases in either the test group or the control group to be statistically relevant so they used antibody testing to try and prove efficiency. On the under age population they didn't even try to do a controlled test, they only tested antibody response.
They were never tested on children for potential side effects or long term health risks.
The whole roll out to children was coercive and wrong on a variety of angles. I would rather be at 10 percent risk of dying from something then dictate that children take something that had a 0.001 percent chance of having a serious unknown side effect. Children are sacred but maybe that's the father in me.
