Carol was super at what she did. She always provided facts and inside points. Saying that about thirty minutes after she would post the blog it would go sideways with everyone else's own agenda.

This site is mostly a rumor site not much different than a ACGM version like that of CapFriendly.

Definitely. She was two good for this site. Not even debatable.

At times I felt sorry for her. She would put in all kinds of hard work and receive a page of thank you Carols followed by 28 pages of Booner is an idiot or Vantel is clueless.
She is as a top journalist, and too good for this crowd (myself included).

Carol was great… but I wouldn’t consider her writing here legit sports journalism. She basically reposted things, backed her work up with work/quotes/stats from people at the rink, and wrote this straightforward and concisely. But she wasn’t out there hounding sources and following up with players herself, at least not for HB.

She does the homework and yes, she interviews players. I would often see her in the scrum on TV. You realize she works for legit outlets right? HB was just a stepping stone...

Her work doesn't rely on rumors. She writes about players, teams, current events in sports. Research doesn't have to be virgin information. You use the data available and that is mostly work done by others. Even a investigative journalist cross references with information provided by others.

How would a journalists write about a person who is deceased if they can't "hound" them for all the information? They collect everything available for the research.
