In the summer maybe...

No, at trade deadline, if lou were to allow teams to talk to agent before deadline and re-dealt Horvat.... Goes 2 ways ...
1 Horvat and said team reach an agreeable deal (Higher Value)
2 Horvat's ask is way higher then interested team will pay (Rental Value)

Works both ways especially if teams are not looking for a rental which would limit market.

There is also Lukas Dregicevic. He looks like someone worth taking in the middle of the 1st round. Oliver Bonk in the second. Same with Michael Hrabal for a future goalie.
- Retinalz

Bonk is probably a 1st round and moving up in the first round as the season has progressed.

The market is (frank)ed where I live. Because of the interest hike, a new vehicle and a 4/5 year old lease-return cost the same. My gf and I just bought new, but it's a low end Chevy Equinox. Tough to justify anything fancier when you drive for 30 mins a day max
- NorthNuck

It's not the interest hike, it's the fact that they don't have any vehicles to sell.

I was chatting with my euro car guy last week when I had my Jetta in.

He was saying Mid 24' is when you will see vehicles again on lots.

Reason why used is so expensive now is because before dealerships would get say 600 new cars a year. Dealerships have X amount for bills to pay out of those "600" cars so you don't depend on the price of a used car.

Now with most dealerships getting 100 cars a year. Bills for the dealership haven't changed but the amount of cars they have to sell has.

Car companies don't really give a poop either because they don't own the dealership anymore just supply the cars.

Just like dealerships don't give a discount for paying cash anymore because instead of them financing vehicles, they now do it through the bank.

Also most PO teams can only afford a rental.

Nighthawk if you talk about the score, they will lose. So don't.

1-1 mid way through the 1st period.

#86 Christian Wolanin (5) ASST: #36 Nils Höglander (7), #92 Vasily Podkolzin (0)

Christ

Down 2-1. Whoever this back up goalie is going with the Markstrom tonight. 2 goals on the first 3 shots he has faced.

Teams not willing to pay get nothing. Not a rental. Bo signs somewhere in the summer.

Interesting!!

“Hardest shot from a forward to win the Hardest Shot, ever is Elias Pettersson. Fredrik Modin came closest in 2001, shooting 102.1 mph. (3rd: Federov, 101.5, 4th: Ovechkin, 101.3)”

Chris Peters on Canucks Central. His takes are normally pretty close. Doesn't have a lot of massive hot takes that are miserable misses.

All of these players are garbage, unless pointed out by someone else.
I have been posting for several months, and years, about good defensemen, but wtf do I know, the experts keep shooting them down

Abby 3-2 comeback win. Hog the winner. Wolanin 3pts now tied for 4th in the league & over 1 assist average per game.

Did you know from that same draft if you combine all 3 centers, career point totals you wanted before Pettersson, Vilardi-Glass-Necas you get 275 career points.

Pettersson 279 career points.

We all make mistakes from time to time. I have many of my own, Donna has a lifetime worth.

You say that but really it was me. I was an early December EP fan that year according to the book. At 5oa though. Not for 1-2-3-4. It was still Hischier, Patrick, Makar, Heiskanen top 4 for moi.

Anyways, I got a 3 am text from my cousin last night. I never hear from him because he's got super crazy anxiety which is weird from a real estate agent. He is an Oilers fan though and has a very good buddy that works for TSN.

Supposedly, there was/is an offer that was sent or talked about.

Bouchard + Poolparty for Schenn +

You may have wanted & mentioned EP but I’m certain it was DCT talking me into it. FYI I had a big red flag on Patrick as in not at all til much much later.

Bouchard has transgressed or maybe just hasn’t panned out. If any truth to that it’s cap management gain for the Oilers.

I think if Patrick didn't have the migraine issues, he is probably a pretty good player.

I can't say I've watched the Oilers except for when they played the Canucks this year. Oilers are looking for physicality on the back end.

Text doesn't say what the + is with Schenn.

The lil bit I’ve seen of Bouchard is unimpressive. Not on PP1 anymore & not hammering shots like he was. Looks pretty meh out there. I had Dobson easily ahead of him when picked B2B. Wasn’t sold him then at all. Dobson I really liked.

General manager Brian MacLellan recently said the team’s plans for the trade deadline will depend on their health leading up to March 3. Silber lists the Montreal Canadiens’ Joel Edmundson, Los Angeles Kings’ Matt Roy and the Vancouver Canucks’ Luke Schenn as potential trade targets for the Capitals.
