I thought this was discussed at length at the time?

There was a power struggle, Linden wanted to rebuild, Benning sold Aquaman about not rebuilding. Linden left the Canucks and Benning tried to make the playoffs, unsuccessfully by signing Roussel and Beagle for big $$$

I don't see how else it could be portrayed, are you saying this didn't happen?

- Pres.cup

It’s been discussed, I haven’t seen any evidence to confirm it. Could have easily been JB wanted something and Linden wanted another, not unlike Roy and Sakic.

This team is going to look like sh1t

I mean they look like that now but you guys are talking downright Loose Bowel Movement here.

Have a feeling the club might be a bit better with players that try hard.

I think that this fanbase wants to change so bad that they are willing to try anything.

No way adding Joshua and removing Horvat from that line are they now better. No way also adding a third line player like Beauvillier they now a top line.

I am not upset at these moves, but I am not conving myself that they are better.

They aren’t better this year, hoping to all of the gods they continue to look a few years down the road. I’m eager to see them revamp the D, I’m not passing judgement until I see a real change in the d corps.

I think we see Raty in the lineup at some point next year. The pick is a huge part, hopefully they hit a nice dman there. If they do, I like that trade a lot. Pelikka or reinbacher

Only two games but he has not had a great start in Abby. Give the guy some time. No hurry to rush him.

Like I said, at some point next year I think he’ll get a look. I agree, don’t rush him.

Unfortunately Aquaman listened to Benning while Colorado was smart enough to dismiss Roy rather than accept his plan of acquiring Drouin.

I’m not too worried, he’s 24 years old and that’s around the same age as the core that we’re building around. Chuchrun in and Myers and OEL out is a huge positive step imo. Time to revamp the back end. One of three d that need replacing.

I hope so, but I’m not banking on anyone outside of Schenn. I’ve had my emotions played with too much

That ended for me a long time ago. I would like to see the team restructured properly. I'm not overly optimistic but I won't lose a minutes sleep either way. The apathy is real.

Drafting 5oa would be good. Michkov.
- manvanfan

Want another winger? I like him but BPA in this case doesn’t fit.

3-5 OA would be a huge win if they can tank it up properly.

Yup. We need everything. Best teams have 4-6 guys that can drive the bus. We’ve got three. Need elite talent badly. Need D badly. Top5 picks should always be BPA imo

Ok. It will cost our top ten pick. Still a good idea?

Not saying they are better or worse but calling a player 3rd line doesn’t fly with me. Beau is if part of the lines duo but a 3rd wheel is not the same thing if on the top line.

We don’t quite need everything. See how more trades work out.
