We got sucked in for a few episodes when the original actors showed up and that was bad. It got worse from there. The chemistry from That 70's show is not there and it's not working for the new actors at all.

I would not trade any top assets for a rental this year. The team is not balanced or deep enough to make a long run in the playoffs. That being said, I wouldn’t be opposed to dealing Laf in the off season. I don’t believe he’ll ever be more than a 20 goal scorer. His lack of skating skills will hamper him throughout his career, hardly what would have been expected from the #1 pick.

The only way I’d trade Laf is because of the LW excess. It’s nuts how everyone were hoping on is LW I do think he’ll will be a PPG player eventually tho, with the right circumstances. Maybe it isn’t here for that to happen idk. They have to be smart tho and not just trade him for the sake of trading him. The kid line can buzz all night as we’ve seen, so we could be for a treat down the road. Patience is very hard so I get that part.

As this season has gone along things can change and I think right now the smartest thing Drury can do is plan for next year. With that means he should probably sign these 3 now, and not wait til the summer. The 3 meaning: Chytil Miller and Laf. At least if Laf is signed you can trade him anyway. Risking him to an offer sheet in the summer is the worst thing possible imo. Get those 3 set in the core and move forward after that. Chytil and Miller have imo been the best rangers lb for lb all year so we definitely don’t want them offer sheeted

Chytil and Miller would be wise to sign now, I doubt their stock will get much higher than it is.

LAF on the other hand would be wise to wait since his stock is very low.

But it would be nice to get these things out of the way. Im sure Drury has numbers in mind already so that may play a role in our trade window.

I say laf too because I do actually think he could get an offer sheet. Give him 2 years 2.5 or something like that, I think we can do that

Yea, Im hoping no more than 5m for them, maybe a little less for Miller, but Chytil def getting that if he continues to play at his current pace.

As far as LAF goes, Im not saying Drury should wait, Im saying LAF should wait. Maybe his play improves and he could get more $.

Would love to have him here, but we simply can't afford to keep him past this season and I'm not giving up the house for a playoff rental.

Now all the guys that are UFA's this yr.. yeah they be gone.

Although I think he would move both Silf and Uncle Rico if he could find a taker with 30 or 40% retained.. Rico could work for you guys as a pivot and wing who is a pro's pro. And knows what it takes to win in playoffs.

Nope, he would have to be a rental. And that's a lot to give up for a rental.
