I realize Mitchkov is a huge talent, at one time right there with Bedard - but he wouldn't be over here for 3 more years - if he would come at all. Unsure if Jarmo can take the risk waiting that long. If JK can't get Bedard then get Fantilli or Carlsson.
We hold a precarious overall 1st pick right now, but Chicago really wants it, and once Kane and Toews are gone it's a straight nose-dive. And I don't trust Bettman at all with the lottery behind the curtain crap. I believe he orchestrates where the pick goes, to where HE thinks it's best. |
