At this point, given the injuries and players that cannot be moved as no one wants them, I am waiting for something extremely unexpected at the trade deadline.
I hope HuGo pull something wild out of nowhere. - Mashadar

I barely know anything about the Harry Potter universe but I much prefer this nickname than the awkward "HuGo" loll

you're turned on, admit it.
and yeah a death pool does kinda sound like fun, as long as things are kept simple and it doesn't require tweaking or maintenance on a constant basis. - Pat1993
If I use HoGo, and you picture the image below, I think that is a win for the both of us!

As Pat and Deadpoulet(RIP) always say, HuGo is the best nickname ever for a Sr Leadership group of a hockey team. |

"showcase" makes me laugh every single time. GMs and scouts know what OffMan does (or doesnt).
Hoping Big Ed can fetch a similar returns than Chiarot.
Also hoping Monahan returns healty. Altough, I wouldnt mind keeping him and resigning (i the deal is decent) if he can't recover in time.
As for the other players?
Drouin, Dadonov, Wideman and Hoffman = gimme anything if it can free up some cap space/contract
Matheson? Savard? 2 Decent vets. I liked what Savard brought to the D-core at the begining of the season while playing with Guhle.

go Habs Go! - WaterBoy Not happening, with his bad back, habs would be lucky to get a 2nd round pick for Eddy. Money needs to play and there are only 10 games left before the TDL.

I get what you're saying, and there's no denying Anderson's numbers have been underwhelming considering his cap hit and term, but his contract isn't the most horrendous either imho. remove him from that roster and the habs suddenly become way less intimidating up front, his physical presence and leadership do have a significant value for the team. - Pat1993
Nobody is remotely scared of Josh Anderson.
And you can find a 30 point guy who hits people for way, way cheaper. |

And on pace for 31 points (he'll get hurt again, so less). Therefore your post does not sufficiently refute BINGO!'s point |

I would'nt be surprise to see Ed fetch more than his "worth".
As for Sean M, he doesn't need to be showcased. He only needs to be healthy.
Also thinking Wideman will fetch way more than his worth since he shoots right.

meh, I'm not saying the whole league trembles at the idea of playing against him, and besides not many players today have that kind of effect anyway, but he does bring an element of physicality. and I wasn't arguing that his contract has been a very good deal for the habs, just that I wouldn't consider it one of the worst around the league. |
