Word had some sources linking the Rangers being interested in two affordable Hawks players in not only Sam Lafferty as was mentioned earlier, but also the multi three position forward in Max Domi. The latter on his $3M expiring deal would be like acquiring two separate suitable players in one who can contribute both offensively and defensively on whatever line needed, and in any role situation. Word had there of the Hawks seeking just one asset in either a 2nd Round pick to as low as an upper 3rd Rounder in exchange for Domi.

I dont want Domi here. That feels like a quantity vs. quality move. I also worry about his attitude.

Where do we sign. I’d take him in a second.

I've been itching for an All Star jersey for a while. I tried to get the neon yellow/green and silver Nash one but I missed it.

This is that perfect amount of tacky for me. I think I'm going to balance it out with a Reverse retro one.

The Rangers, after more than a week off, returned to practice Sunday. Igor Shesterkin, Artemi Panarin and Adam Fox all participated in the All-Star events and game to varying degrees of success. The most important thing coming out of the weekend is none of them were hurt.

Sad but true. That right there sums up what a complete waste of time All Star weekend has become. Years ago I used to actually watch the game and root for Mario to outdo Gretzky and win the car. Now I'd rather sit in my shed and watch stuff rust, and hope that Sid/Geno/Letang don't get hurt.

I know I’m in the minority when I say this, but I’m gonna trust Drury at the deadline at least. He nailed it last year, it’s the least that I can do. I trust he has a plan and I’m looking forward to seeing it

The flames gave them a ton of trouble last year. New players up front so hopefully a different result

I’m selling one ticket to tonight’s game. Section 208 row 5 seat 18. $75 bucks (that’s $40 less than what I paid for it). If anyone is interested, let me know 👍

that's right, I had forgotten that, early last season the Flames destroyed them both in the Garden and in Calgary, like 6-0

lots of Gaudreau and Tkachuk

the Wolfpack just went through a period where they had a ton of games, and now they go through a dry spell with only 2 games in 12 days.

So really, now is a good time to have Cuylle here anyway, to get more exposure, practice time with the big club, etc.

What they really need to do is cut loose Hajek, and do the same with either Robertson or Zac Jones, or maybe even Ty Emberson

You don't have to worry about his attitude.

He's going to give you his best.

It's just that his best is not particularly good most of the time.

Granted he DID go off in game 7 vs the Bruins last year and that made all the difference...

Then he and Tony had a couple mini-meltdowns against you guys in round two.

I took it to mean he would consider it giving Cullye away because we wouldn't be able to resign Meier after this season. I could be wrong.

it just always makes me laugh when rumours get anyone pissed

I think one of the problems with this season has been the trade deadline talk started waaaaaay too early, probably because its been obvious they were hoarding cap space for it, but we've been going at this for awhile now, and there is still awhile to go

25 days. But there are a lot of names out there, and with the Isles jumping on Horvat early some GMs might start to feel pressure to get a deal done so their not left standing there with their thumb up their ass.

A lot more sellers than buyers right now.

We have 5 LWs next year unless someone is moved to RW (laf cuyyle or othmann) Kreider hasnt looked good there and same with Panarin, seems more comfortable on LW. It’s more or less a numbers game. Othamnn could stay in the minors to start the year I guess, but eventually we’re in a LW pickle (pun intended)

Didn’t he throw a questionable hit on one of our guys earlier in the year? Was it Gauthier?
