That's why they need to find another Dman that can eat some minutes. Power and Samuelsson aren't used to the rigors of a 82gm season yet. Caught up to Samuelsson, but Power is on a different level, it amazes me the minutes he eats and is just getting better. Yes he still has his rookie flaws, but to be doing what he has done. Sabres could take his game to the next level with the right Vet partner. Something they didn't do for Dahlin.

See what Adams is thinking here shortly. Next few games could tell what direction he goes. They come out and rip of 3 or 4 in a row maybe he jumps into the game a bit and upgrades here and there. They come out flat and lose 3 or 4 and he might just sit pat and let this season play out.

I probably wouldn't use any of are Top tier prospects on any D available unless a Morrow or Korczak might be involved in the package coming back.

What's outstanding? Better than the 38 Vic is on pace for and his 3 20-goal seasons he already has? And, when? Yeah, in 5 seasons Savoie may be a force in the NHL, but what about in the mean time? JJ and Jack demolished the AHL last season, and neither is on pace for 20 goals at this point. If we serious about this season and next season, none of those prospects have a prayer of being big contributors. They just arent ready now and wont be ready for a win now NHL team next season.

Losing any one of our prospects and a 1st rounder for a shutdown NHL defenseman is a no brainer to me.

Overall he's been pretty fine as a player. Last year he was pretty good. This year he's subpar.

That's exciting and scary to think about at the same time. I hate the bridges. I spent 4.5 miserable years working them. I think I would pass on tickets that year, but be really happy the Crapper was being upgraded.

Toronto wouldn’t care, Buffalo absolutely would.

They’d lose a large chunk of their season ticket holder base and a lot of their secondary market.

That’s why Hamilton didn’t get a team back in 2008 when Basilie was trying to bring a team there.

I just find it interesting how the city of Hamilton is going to put millions of dollars into an upgraded arena that very well could sit empty… seems fishy to me

I think Hornqvist will stay on ltir with his lingering concussion issues.
