I believe Adams is in full control - TheSabresTaco
A lot of our past issues were Terry getting involved. Stay the F away and just pay the bills.
On a trade note I don't think we need a splash trade this year. We are still on the cusp. Make a good hockey trade if needed, but I don't need another high priced LHD playing out of position just because we have assets.
We are in a power position with cap space, a good young core and prospects. Any trade should be on our terms and a clear win.

Some of our 2nds is what I see expendable. If it's the right guy go for it. But don't do it just to do it.

Well, sure - the "right guy" can't be a rental at that price
Man the back reading from the 2016 draft is fascinating. But this line from the blog is mind-boggling in hindsight: Rumor also has the Edmonton Oilers sending the fourth-overall pick and Leon Draisaitl (2014, 3rd-overall) to Montreal for Subban which seems a little low, but in terms of the Sabres, the starting point might very well be Sam Reinhart (2014, 2nd-overall) and this year's 8th-overall pick plus another young roster player like Zemgus Girgensons, Mark Pysyk, Jake McCabe or Marcus Foligno. Would you do it?

Today that feels insane because of how he fell off the table but back then those were completely plausible offers.
Supposedly retaining so probably Dallas's 1st and a prospect or 2 - Buff36
Believe D Niko Mikkola is part of the deal with Tarasenko from #stlblues    to #NYR   , which adds some context to Libor Hajek being placed on waivers.
Sammy Blais is going back to #stlblues    from NYR.
