guy has 9 more (frank)ing points than Quinn.
I'm not giving up a first round pick for a rental, let alone a poopty upgrade. - TheSabresTaco
41 playoff goals in 90 playoff games, probably more than our entire roster
and I guess you didn't read my post as I said a second with no salary retained

said the same thing he says every time.
at least the guy is consistent.
his vision doesn't rule out Timo and Jakob.
It definitely rules out Kane and Tarasenko. - TheSabresTaco
He had a chance to tell the fans to buy some more seats when he was asked about the home record. He didn't, as he is a nice guy, but there is a noticeable drop off in the home record with crowds under 17K. These guys definitely get juiced for big games going back to the Heritage Classic in Hamilton. I see no problems against Calgary Saturday, then we're on the road, then Toronto at home. Our problem is coming February 28th against Columbus. There's half a building of unsold seats rights now. I can see us on a roll going into that game, and then they take a giant crap in front of 13,000 of us on a Tuesday night. |

what's he gonna do, chastise the fans about not showing up to see a team that didn't deserve attention since 2014?

Agreed. He really can't, but maybe he could. Sometimes everybody, even fans, need a little motivation. |

blues eating 50 percent of Tarasenko's deal
they got a scrub winger, an echl d man a late first and a 4th for the deal
gotta think we could have gotten Tarasenko for a 2nd with no salary retained, assuming he would have waived - homiedclown
Right, but why would St. Louis be looking to save money? I would think they would be trying to maximize assets. They can still hold money when they trade ROR.

that motivation comes in doing their (frank)ing jobs.
that doesn't mean they shouldnt offer incentives. they've totally blown it the past 10 years.
imagine raising prices every year for a garbage team. what a joke. the blackhawks aren't increasing prices and they've really only tanked for one year.

Could have atleast said they were positive that Jalapeños will be offered at the Nacho Station. And that Zemgus Girgensons has signed a 3yr Extension to be your Greeter and server as the new Nacho Bar attendant. |

I don't think it would be a good luck for the GM to tell the fans to buy more seats. Besides, he sees the big jump in attendance from last year and that attendance is going up as the year goes on.
If anything, he should be telling his team to play better in front of the smaller crowds.

I will say this: I would absolutely do a better job as an in game motivator than the small lady with the bob haircut. She does wear nice sweaters though. |

I would definitely support them just blowing everyone's minds one day and saying:
"We've looked at our remaining home schedule, and every 300 level seat has been reduced to $20 for the remainder of the regular season (fees included)." |

that was one game on a tuesday in January. That is still thousands more than they averaged last year. The attendance is jumping... just not necessarily that night.

I think I’ve said it about 1500 times.
It’s going to take more than just winning a few games to get people back the stands.
They need to show they are trying to compete for a playoff spot. They need to bring in a player that shows we mean business.
Otherwise it’s BAU, and fans are/were fed up with it. |
