Don't really get the Chychrun obsession. Fit isn't there. Meier is a great fit, if you can work out an extension.
KA sure doesn't sound interested in 1.5-2.5 year rentals. - Lunaion
Don't either, for what they are asking for Chychrun you could almost get Timo and Murphy with probably another pick and prospect. |

There's no way they're giving up Peterka in a trade for chicken wing. I'd give up Savoie before JJ. |

Think you're going a little too far there.

Why be so cryptic?

The dude presumably felt bad about what he posted and deleted it. He is good enough to come in here to share with us once in a while - if he regretted posting it the least we could do is help him out.

Another question
If the chickenman can stay healthy
What's he going to want in 2.5 years - Anderdog
That's part of why he is attractive - if you get him for 3 playoff runs you don't care what he wants in 2.5 years. Presumably we would move him or let him walk.

Maybe, but would it really be a surprise if Adams values the young core here over guys that are 2+ years away?

Yes. Savoie is one of his prized picks and JJ has just been OK this year.

I would have no issue with Savoie being the big piece in a trade |

I don’t think you have to move Savoie to get Meier or Chychryn tbh with you.
They have the horses to get a deal done, just whether or not they bite the bullet or not |

Risto is now a +1 on the season. Torts wins the Jack Adams in a landslide. |

Adams seems to love him, he was fairly gushing about him during his interview earlier. |

Yes he does.
He also loves all his prospects, and Peterka was the 2nd pick he made as GM, one he traded up to pick at that. |

I'm not the one to ask. Doing pretty well now, isn't he?

I don't know which of his kids he loves the most, just have to think his recent #9 has to be very high on that list. Wish he loved a defenseman that much, other than Chychrun.
No clue what he's going to do with all these F's. Proactively trading hasn't been his style.

Sorry needed my mid afternoon nap
Great point
On the kid
Wonder if his little brother was being a a@#
Strange 89 not hearing anything
Saying just the opposite
We shall see
Wouldn't be my target
But he does play LD/Rd |

It is certainly going to be fascinating to see how it all plays out. Roch is going to be stacked. I think it is far too early to see what his style is seeing as the plan was always the long game. Once it is go time and he is loaded with murrency it should be interesting to see how he carries himself.
