Just got a PM from Gerbe. Told him I wouldn’t spill the beans, but he said he posted that about Chychrun to take the scent off Timo! |

Sorry needed my mid afternoon nap
Great point
On the kid
Wonder if his little brother was being a a@#
Strange 89 not hearing anything
Saying just the opposite
We shall see
Wouldn't be my target
But he does play LD/Rd - Anderdog
89 confirmed interest, just said they weren’t going to pay the price.
That can always change.
Marek and Friedman have also mentioned Buffalo interest in Chychrun even dated back to the draft.

Luke Schenn not out for Warm ups. But he did leave last nights game after blocking a shot they said. But wasn't on a injury report. |

It is certainly going to be fascinating to see how it all plays out. Roch is going to be stacked. I think it is far too early to see what his style is seeing as the plan was always the long game. Once it is go time and he is loaded with murrency it should be interesting to see how he carries himself. - Slump Buster
I think this is the real KA and not just a phase. Lot of Darcy in him, the good and the bad.

Waaaaaaaaay too early to say that as Adams has never had a playoff team. His only real assignments over the last 2 years were to draft well and not do anything that TMGM would have done.

What's outstanding? Better than the 38 Vic is on pace for and his 3 20-goal seasons he already has? And, when? Yeah, in 5 seasons Savoie may be a force in the NHL, but what about in the mean time? JJ and Jack demolished the AHL last season, and neither is on pace for 20 goals at this point. If we serious about this season and next season, none of those prospects have a prayer of being big contributors. They just arent ready now and wont be ready for a win now NHL team next season.
Losing any one of our prospects and a 1st rounder for a shutdown NHL defenseman is a no brainer to me. - lacaprup
Makes sense to me; including one of Peterka or Quinn. Certainty over potential IMO

See where the next 8 or so games take us, those last 5 or 6 before the deadline are important and could really have a big hand in any decision Adams makes. |

Our best additions next year are (theoretically) going to be the jump that Quinn and Peterka are going to make. No need to part with either for Chickenman - we have plenty to get it done without them.

We'll never know what GMTM and JB would have done with 0 pressure. We're seeing KA operate with none. I'm fine forming opinions. They can always change. |

If Peterka is used to get Timo, then it was a good draft pick regardless. I’m trading Peterka over Quinn. Quinn has a better shot and gets more scoring chances. I don’t know about Peterka. He hasn’t looked good in a while. Goalofsson has dry spells, but you know he has a shot that can beat any goalie in the league and you’re not getting much of a net gain in goals scored by replacing him with Timo. Timo for Peterka is a massive gain. Timo, Cozens and Quinn? Even if they pay him 9 mil. What’s Pasta gonna get? Cozens and Timo are like getting Bergeron and Pasta at a discount. |

Maybe making a significant trade, plus maybe a second trade, showing potential patrons that you have every intention to make the playoffs and that is their only goal for the remainder of this year especially when they are so close to getting the job done. Many people don't want to hear anything about long term BS. They don't make the playoffs the create a new record in playoff futility. And RENTALS are OK if not needed. Tons of cap room. No need to worry about holding prospects up who aren't even playing in the NHL if you get guys only for this year. Go for it. You blow it, I think people understand that there are six teams fighting for 2 spots. They fill the stadium. Sit there and do nothing and I, at least, will piss on you. Them, the Sabres, I mean, not you, you. But I know there are a lot more like me. Tired of the waiting game. |

The name, dates and massive overpayment on a trade proposal all seem to line up. Must be him.

Pacing at lesser production then last season. - kingcong39
I'm hoping it's a Reinhart situation, Adams having him working out building more muscle than you normally would during the season and it's making him tired during the games. Otherwise you're a bit worried he's not doing as well a year older in the CHL. Canada also didn't want him on the WJC which was interesting.
If Rochester gets all 3 of the 1sts next season I'll definitely have to make the trip a few times to see them. I would assume Savoie could go next year but I don't know the CHL requirements |

I just don't want to pay a dude until he's 35 again. Thats what Meir will want in next contract.

He's not turning 27 until this fall.
If he'd accept a 7 year deal, it'd be until he's 33.
Not sure that changes your viewpoint.

Fans could careless about a significant trade
How did bringing in Taylor hall go with the box office? What about Eric staal? How did that workout
Sustained winning for a decently long period of time. That is what will bring people back

Savoie can't play in Roch next year and Ostlund is expected to stay in Sweden. Go see them this year.

So who do you want to get rid of in order to fit timo Meier under the cap long term?
No power? No Dahlin? Who is leaving to fit him in long term

A B level prospect and a 2nd
That is what Adams is shooting for.
They won’t get savoie Arizona I mean - Sabretooth9
How do you know what he is shooting for? You work for the Sabres? If not, you can think what you want but don't pretend you know anything. It's a bad look.

Ah that's a bummer. I've got plans to see them this year but always nice when you've got more high level prospects to see. Part of me would be surprised to see Savoie in the CHL again next year, how much do you really gain from going against kids that much younger than you? But if it's best for his development you do it |
