I can't imagine it being Schenn. He is more attractive to teams at the cap because he is on an expiring contract.

You're right about that. The more I look at it the less likely I think we do anything big. The trades this season have already been bigger than most, so I think the deadline is fairly quiet. Especially around here.

They're saying this one was much smaller, the size of a small car instead of multiple school buses, and it was at a lower altitude posing a possible risk to aviation

with all these picks, prospects, and players on current team that may not be in the long term plans would make this the time for a 3 for 1 trade to gat an impact player though

Grabbing a Murphy to me saves your ELC's of the future, and improves the area of most need (defense) IMO. You dont need another difference maker back there since you have 2 already.

You can make a difference by just having a stable back end.
