Power is still a rookie, was going to have issues. Dahlin has moments where he's mid playing defense but you expect that with his offensive ability. Samuelson is the guy you need playing good defense, and they need more of that. I don't know where you get that and it's not something they're likely to do during the season

Im not trying to win the cup this year. I recognize they are one of the youngest teams in the league. They can win and grow at the same time. Meier is a bonafide top 6 player that they need can afford and fits with the timeline. If he ends up in our division on another team it will be a monster failure by our GM.

I commend adams for his signings so far but not addressing goaltending last offseason is inexcusable. The losing streak is still looming over them as far as the standings are concerned.

I know "goalies aren't worth your cap" people will disagree, but it's a black hole for us now. It's what we need. I think we have enough scoring and prospects to fill in there. We have some horses on backend ( could use another decent guy back there), but pure questions at goalie

Levi will be in Rochester next year. Not realistic to think he's an NHL player right out of college. Might play a bit but you can't rely on rookies to make your team better. That was our issue with Quinn and Peterka.

I was never a UPL lover. He's not a scrub but he's not near a starter yet.
