The only reason it didn't take him that long to land is that he wasn't very high to begin with. But he was definitely WAY better than Malgin or Hunt.

I know he makes that much. Id still take him over Dryden Hunt. If we could back and cancel out that initial trade I would. Unfortunately, the hard cap sucks ass, and all we talk about is salaries (hockey talk)

He's a Waterdown kid - and the people around here were very excited when he was drafted by the Leafs. Less so when they dumped him to the Islanders.

. . . and thanks. That NMC is better for Dallas! He is definitely playing worse (half as many hits, twice as many giveaways, and obviously half as many goals & points), but he has the ability to be more.
