I’m not against being mediocre until the deadline, moving out some pieces for some pucks and do a quick retool this summer with the assets received. I really like the Horvat trade regardless if they make the playoffs or not. He’s gonna be a beast long term.

All year long our defense has had some serious breakdowns in positional awareness and communication. The crazy thing is it's been happening even with experienced pairings like Pelech and Puloch.
Sorokin was off and it showed on a couple of goals, but once again we also got outmuscled in front of our own net allowing him to be screened on three of them.

Highly entertaining game among two evenly matched teams.

Pelech has had games where he hasn’t been great but he was also injured long term. I would say Pulock has had a pretty bad season overall.

I blame Thomas Hickey. He jinxed the Islanders. When the Isles went up 4 - 2, he made some sort of crack that Vancouver's having played the night before was beginning to show. The Isles were the only team that looked tired after he said that.
