yeah, I'm afraid you are right. we have many with 0 value, some with contracts ending only next year...
not expecting much from the Habs tbh

- fidopro

i agree, I do not think there is much to be traded. Like I said a few days back, I am not expecting much, maybe grab a few picks later in the draft. Maybe by taking on an expiring contract to help another team trade / eat cap.

Or.

Low chance of some totally unexpected surprise out of left field.

Kick....I am wearing my Randall Cunningham jersey today

He was a great (frank)ing QB !

Then so was Mcnabb, they were blessed at that position

Drouin's recurring injuries (wrist) and his inability to stay healthy most likely mean the end for him at 28yrs old (turns 28 in March)

Dado is gone but so is Weber's contract so short term pain for long term gain.

Wideman...he is signed for another season at league minimum (762K).

HuGo will make a few moves IMO, might move some younger assets for positional needs like a goalie prospect or young RHD.

- Symba007

It's a shame for him that most of the guys he wanted to deal are all perma injured or just poop.

He did pretty well with those guys before the break.

I really like Dach and Anderson on the same line, though.

EDIT: is Dach getting the Plekanec treatment. LOL.

Dach is the best Habs forward lately, hence why he is getting Hoffman and Dadonov before the TDL, they are trying to "showcase" those 2 losers with Dach for a few games to see if someone will bite

yeah, I'll be tuning in to see how the team plays and maintains a level of compete, I won't be watching the whole game though if it turns into a disaster lol.

kinda sucks for Dach but perhaps he's the kind of center the other two underperforming vets need, as Mash mentioned they've clicked together on the same line before.

there is no showcasing at this point anymore lol, they're just trying to salvage what's left of the games before the TDL and crossing their fingers in the hopes a miracle happens.

I think at this point MSL is just trying to put a decent-ish lineup together with who's available lol

Dach is gonna need super power to make those 2 attractives for another team

But hey, we have seen crazier things happen !

well, as I said in the second part of my post, they've played together before and didn't look so horrible, so you never know...

if by any miracle they can find a taker for Dadonov with 50% retained for a 7th round pick or an AHL plug, you do it just to move from his deal.

Hoffman...one more year at 4.5M, that's another story

At this point, they need to leave Dach as second line center for the rest of the year.

Move Monahan to the wing, if/when he comes back, with Suzuki and drop Anderson to Dach's line would be idea scenario in my book.

Pat...you won't be happy. I just ran the PatTankathon draft lottery and the Habs got the 7th and 13th picks.

agreed on keeping Dach there, especially if he continues playing the way he was before the break, he really seems to have hit a new stride in his development.

Lol but if they do it in OT you still won’t get the loser point with the goalie out.
