Panarin's scouting report on Tarasenko: "He can do everything – especially shoot. Everyone knows how strong his hands are, so I’ll try to pass to him tonight."

Question for everyone: Panarin-Zibanejad-Tarasenko is the most skilled #NYR line since...?

This has to work. I refuse to believe it won't.

I would say most skilled line since Jagr-Nylander-Straka

Nash-Richards-Gaborik honorable mention?

(frank)ing Richards killed them that year. He was such a step behind. Remember that goal they scored vs Boston?

Yes. Pretty sure Gaborik had a hat trick that game.

We watch so many games that these get buried and you forget how good some of these teams/guys were. We hold on to the bad stuff so much more, need to try and stop doing that.

I think 2013 was the missed opportunity year even more so than 2014. They had a better chance that year. 2014 was terrible for me because I was a huge Gaborik fan even before his move to the NYR. To watch him almost win the Conn Smythe while also killing their cup dream was brutal.

Injuries and poor coaching in 2013. 2014 3 blown leads in the SCF. Please stop making me talk about it.

Now that it's in our rear view mirror, can anyone think of another Ranger that played 54 games and never scored a goal?

Tanner Glass had longer Goalless drought then Blais. Think Glass went 57 games without goal.

Edit: 56 games. Not 57.

Give me a healthy Zucc and they make finals in 2015. That and defensemen who could walk. as half the blue line was dinged up. AV did a lousy job.

It seems the only forward to go longer than Blais was Shane Churla who played 55 games for the Rangers with 0 goals

I thought it was most games played without managing to score a single frakking goal
