Of course you'd like to have a bigger lead earlier, but it took a while to get their legs after the long break.

Solid road game none the less and a shutout for Sammy.

The guy has a career .902 SV% and 3.07 GAA and that’s career including playing under the Torts stingy D first approach.

This year he’s a .906 SV% and a 3.35 GAA

I would def not want him as a Leaf goalie, I didn’t want him the year after he “out goalied” the Leafs in the playoffs and still don’t.

I’ll stick with the guy who got the shutout tonight and Murray / Woll.

I think he’s super streaky and the bad steaks are longer than the good ones. Being on the worst team in the league is a this year thing, his career stats tell a different story.

The CBJ have not been the worst teams in the league as long as he’s been there they were middle of the league overall 2 or 3 of those years. .

He is what he is - cheap backup but I don’t know that he’s a difference maker for anyone. Maybe someone will grab him and we will find out. Despite him playing exceptionally well tonight his antics when his team was pooping the bed and giving up way too many grade A chances doesn’t scream a guy the players would love to have join the team. He kinda sold his guys out - you do that in the room not on the ice with the WTF arm gestures and dirty looks.

Again guess we will see if he gets moved - if I’m wrong I’ll fully admit it but I’d rather Dubas used that $ to get someone else if a back up is a need a la Craig Anderson.
