Exactly. I think we should all be aware of the fact that GG will change the lines if they aren't getting it done.
And how exactly are we calling him out for Saturday's change when it resulted in a 3rd period hat trick for Panarin and a win for the team????? - Tonybere
A) we all know I’m eternally bothered by GG
B) and more seriously, just run the mika, bread, vlad line a little longer. Let them practice together. If it worked out it would be awesome. And we know kreider/trochek/vesey or goody works |

I was talking about Kravtsov. Vesey isn't problem. Should he be in top 6, no. Will he cost them a game, no. Idk what think about Gallant. I just can't do it anymore. Man wants to outsmart himself, whatever. Go for it. Just win baby. - tomburton99
Yes. He has outsmarted himself right into the 6th best winning percentage in the league this season.
I'm not trying to be argumentative or angry with this comment. I just don't know what it is that upsets you so much. You understand the make up this team as well as any of us. Gallant has been consistent since he's been here. Since he started coaching, I would wager actually. He isn't going to play someone who makes defensive mistakes just because they have a higher level of offensive talent. If Kravtsov, or Gauthier, or anyone else has trouble making the adjustments the coaches are asking for, they sit for a more dependable player.
This shouldn't be news anymore. And I don't see where it's a fireable offense, either. Almost every team in the league strategizes from their own net outward, every season. |

I'm sure they will get more time together. That has to be exactly what they wanted when Drury pulled the trigger. But, Gallant is in the middle of a dog fight for the playoffs. He isn't going to sacrifice 2 points in the hope that it will unlock that line somewhere down the line. He has to be concerned about 60 minute intervals.
Today was there first practice since the trade, I believe. I think the play of Tarasenko and Mikkola was fantastic given that they only had 2 morning skates to familiarize themselves with their new teammates and systems. |

Who’s asking anyone to sacrifice points? Just put them together goddamnit. What’s the use in waiting (if that’s what you’re saying is happening) |

I don't get what you're asking for. He had them together. After 30 minutes the team was being outshot by 10 and losing by a goal. He made the adjustment and we won.
Leaving them together to try and figure it out may have led to them not really doing enough differently and a loss.
You complain that he doesn't adjust when we lose and you complain that he doesn't leave things alone, even though we won. So, what is it that you want him to do?
Again, not angry. I just don't see what he can possibly do that will satisfy you. |

I’m not mad that he shook up the lines mid game. Just put them back |

The coach did what he was supposed to do. Adapt and make changes mid-game and they won. |

3rd team retains an additional 50%. If that happens I guarantee the NHL eliminates the ability to do that next season |

Dude… Ranger fan here. We’re on the same team.
Chicago can retain 50%, add a third team and they take 25%.

Okay TJ. - Fenrir
I find it hysterical how upset the very idea of him has always made this place
Like you actually all believe he will suck based on a couple of pie charts. Truly unbelievable
The thing I’ll say is tho, I don’t think they can fit him in at even 25%, which is 2.625. That is too much to take on I believe |

Not unless they find someone to take Goodrow, which will not happen right now. |

Kane would’ve always needed a 3rd team and that’s probably why they went for Tarasenko instead. It isn’t happening you can all relax haha |

I don't think he will suck, we simply aren't going to be able to fit him cap wise. And this scenario of a 3rd team eating 25% is ludicrous. Like Rick said, if that happens the NHL will do away with that immediately. |

I don't subscribe to the Athletic, but Wheeler just put out his list of Top 50 NHL Prospects and I was wondering if any Rangers other than Othmann made the list? |

and you also cant handle any push back on your anti-Gallant points
because Ill say something to conteract an anti-Gallant post of yours, and your response is ALWAYS "well, I guess you aren't allowed to say something negative about Gallant"
and that is soooooooooooooo annoying
if you have an anti-Gallant argument, make one, but don't wimp out when you are challenged |

I remember having an argument with him directly when he was guaranteeing Rocco Grinmaldi would be better than Chris Kreider
