I think it would be a good idea to improve upon him before March 3rd.
But blaming Jake for Kravtsov not playing is silly.
Kravtsov is not a 4th liner. - jimbro83

I think kravs stays in NA if the team commits tinplating him more than 4 games straight. They just need a cost controlled player back in return. Not a rental - nyrangers2
I agree with you. Someone whos under contract next year, but also under 2 million bucks is someone ideal imo. Lafferty for example. He makes a lot of sense, because imo it’ll be a Blais like player (one who can hopefully score a goal at some point lol)
Kravtsov for Lafferty is the leader in the clubhouse |

Honestly if you are fixated on Kravtsov with everything else going on with this team the only player you can point to is Vesey.
And how can anyone have a complaint about Vesey |

the X factor with Kravtsov's trade value is the very real fear that he'll just go back to Russia if he doesnt like where he was traded though - jimbro83
1) things aren't great back home in Russia
2) as long as he gets a one way contract, he will still make more dollars than rubles
I think he stays here in the US... |

Maybe. But either way it’s seems pretty evident it’s not gonna be our concern for too much longer. |

Agreed.
Did anyone notice how GG rolled his 3 sets of defensemen last night? Fox led the team while playing only 21+ mins. Schneider played 18+ and Mikkola got 17+ mins.
This will keep Fox fresh going down the stretch! |

Yea it’s over here. As long as Gallant is head coach Kravstov won’t be part of the mix. Time to move on and see what you can get |

Kravtsov started off on the wrong foot to begin with and never really got out of his doghouse. The pick was dumb when they made it, we all knew we wanted Dobson or Wahlstrom. Is what it is. It really hasn’t affected the on ice product at all at least |

The biggest thing for me is you can’t trust him. He has already bolted for Russia once and asked for a trade the next offseason. You don’t move him now there is always a chance he bolts again in the summer and then all the value is gone. Think it’s just time to cut ties, this coaching staff doesn’t trust him fully to play him |

Average salary in the KHL is now less than half of what he will receive as an NHL RFA. Kravstov may also be required to join the Russian Army if he returns home. I really think this threat that he is going back to Russia is unfounded... |

Going through the whole list of players that become FAs in 2024, only Lafferty and Raddysh fit the bill. |

I am going off of what he has already shown us. He has quit on this franchise twice already. You can’t trust him. You honestly think his long term future is with the rangers? |

Not at all, I think he is ( rightfully ) going to be traded in next three weeks. But for the team that acquires him, I don't think he will leave them and return home. |

Yea he needs a fresh start. I just think it would be dumb of the rangers not to move him before the deadline knowing his past with the organization. Cash out now |

I said it 2 years ago when we also had Nils. If youre not gonna use them, trade them when value is at its peak. However they inexplicably sit on these prospects, for what... I dont know. Fortunately we managed to recoup a 1st for Nils, which in turn gave us the flexibility to get Tarasenko. This Kravtsov situation though, unnecessarily ugly and complicated... partially on the organization as well as on Kravtsov. |

In leu of a 1st round pick, would you guys be willing to trade Adam Sykora for Tanner Jeannot? |

Minn actively shopping Greenway. He doesn’t make sense for us anymore, but definitely someone that could use a fresh start. |

Well, with cap realignment we may be able to squeeze him in, Im just not sure we can get him without a 1st round pick.
If they end up trading Goodrow in the offseason to open up some cap space, we get some cushion for things. |

Barbanov had a good game he could be perfect fit on the 3rd line. Drury and Grier need to make something happen. Maybe it’ll be easier for Drury to trade Kravtsov to a friend |

Sounds like Arizona is sending Chychrun to Kings for Brandt Clarke. Not official yet though. |
