I’d like to get heaviness for the 4th line. That’s what Blais would’ve been

I still think it's weird St Louis wanted Blais back, unless they are gonna sign him to an extension soon

I think its very real that St Louis likes him, but they could have re-signed him this summer as a UFA

whatever though, its defintiely true that money wise Blues had to do it to make the deal happen

In all honesty, I really think the problem with Kravstov is that he hasn't worked enough in the weight room to get stronger since he was drafted.
Kid can:
skate
has good hands
makes an effort defensively
learned English
came over to America early that one off-season to skate and practice

There ARE many positives. His problem always seems to be lack of strength. He isn't powerful enough to maintain position in the "dirty" areas of the ice. He gets pushed off of pucks easily. He loses too many 50/50 pucks. He gets hurt because despite his size, he just isn't strong enough. He needs another 15 pounds of muscle on his frame. He has had 3+ years to hit the weight room to address this and he just refuses to do so.

Couple this problem with the fact that he has gotten poor advice from the people that he trusts ( family, agent, etc. ) and he is now in this untenable situation.

I think Drury will hold onto him through this post-season in case someone gets hurt and will trade him in the off-season, probably at the draft. When Nils demanded a trade, Drury held onto him for almost 9 months until the Dallas deal came along. Even though Kravstov is a distraction right now, I don't think Drury is going to trade him for peanuts.

The fanbase reaction to the Buchnevich trade proves my point that Drury shouldn't simply unload him unless the right deal comes along......

Because Hunt, with all his deficiencies, knew how to get into defensive position and limit HDCF!!!!
This broken record needs a new needle!!!

- Tonybere

If the record is broken, why would the player need a new needle??

He should’ve agreed to Hartford last year. That was the best advice he didn’t take probably. He didn’t realize he needed it. Now he may have (frank)ed himself in the long run

Pierre Lebrun says his understanding is that there's been more talks between the #NJDevils and #SJSharks re: Timo Meier over the last 48 hours.

Says Tom Fitzgerald is pretty motivated to find a fit there for the Devils.

#NYR coach Gerard Gallant on Vitali Kravtsov trade request:

“It’s not easy. He’s a top 9 player, and right now, he’s not in our top 9. He’s not going to be a fourth-line player. He doesn’t play in that role for our team. We like him, I like him. He’s a good kid.

What a (frank)ing liar.
