It will be for Justin Holl if Allvin is the guy running the ship. I better check and see if we have any more third round picks we can add to the deal. |

Do you run that risk if you fail to get out of the 1st round this year? - Retinalz
Me? If I was GM? Yes. I don't see any player like Matthews being traded. But the fact this is being discussed already, I sure hope they sign him sooner than later so this conversation doesn't drag on and on.

That's true but banned people usually blow up the inbox. I have some who tell me their takes on current trades because they are banned and have no where else to discuss it.

If the best you get offered for Schenn is a mid round pick, re-sign him to a team friendly deal. - VanHockeyGuy
So the Canucks aren't good enough. Schenn is apart of not being good enough as a bottom pair guy. You think re-signing him instead of taking any draft pick is better? I think more kicks at the can for prospects is a better route to take.
Considering 1. Schenn can still re-sign in the off season and 2. He's a bottom pairing guy. There's a billion every year available in free agency.

It sounds like you have trust in this new group of managers drafting. They really do suck. Not joking.
Rutherford has one of the worst drafting records in the Last Decade. Granato stinks and she is VP of scouting. And Lickhermacki speaks for itself with Allvin.

You just said trade Hughes keep Schenn
This is why I think Gavrikov will be cheap. It is you guys thinking Canucks will overpay not me. I am thinking 3 years x 2.5 maybe four years and we have the Russian factor.
Mini pointed out yesterday that Canucks need to also fix the middle D and bottom D. Gavrikov and Severson address that.

Lets see what Boston extend him for. No use worrying now , sit back and see what the final numbers are. Aaron Portziline (spelling) and Pagotta say it is a done deal.

He just tweeted Boston needs to move money/player first, not done yet.
“Vladislav Gavrikov Watch 2023 may be nearing the finish line. Per source, #CBJ & #NHLBruins have the framework of a trade in place (talk of a 1st/3rd in package), but Boston has to clear cap space. One player I'm told they're shopping is F Craig Smith. However... (1/2)”
“...#CBJ won't wait forever. It's understood that if another team swoops in with a competitive/better offer, they could go that route. Ball (or puck) is in Boston's court as they try to make the $ work. Adding Gavrikov could surely eliminate Boston from the Chychrun talk. (2/2)” |
