savoie probably makes that team if he doesn't have that shoulder injury. he absolutely makes that team had his defensive game rounded out last season. the kid is a dog and is an absolute joy to watch.

if i were to pick one it would be between levi and savoie. id prefer not to pick one though. also having kulich rosen and ostlund is great.

After being off a lot during the summer due to the shoulder injury and starting off slow, I would say it is. He bounced back well and is his godlike self again out there. Really impressed, he's going to knock your socks off, just wait.

guy like that on the open market in 2 years is getting an easy 9. sabres have to weigh having him as a 2 year rental or pay him that much. most teams need to weigh that, and im guessing that's the reason he's still in arizona.

Savoie is being deployed differently this year. He has much more PK time and less PP time. Winnipeg has the ability to roll 4 lines too because of how deep their roster is.

Savioe definitely has a slow start and you would like to see 1st round prospects production increase in their D+1 year but that being said his usage is different and his defensive game is being worked on.

i'd recommend staying away from willem defoe in that case.

Is 7 games really a sample size you look at? No, first 30 games or so he was on pace for less points than the previous year. You would want to see D+1 better than that.
