So, one of the things I've learned since switching to Canadian sports talk and hearing hockey talk is Chris Neil was never suspended in his 1000+ game NHL career. WTF? |

Time for Patty Kane to shut it down and get the hip surgery. He needs to be ready for camp at the KBC in September. Hell of a valliant effort to get something for Chicago this year, but based on what it did for Marchand, time to get fixed. 3 Cups and a bazillion dollars is enough for the Blackhawks. - lacaprup
Unless Kane takes a discount. He isn’t coming here |

And he said himself nothing is wrong with hip
Watched laughs game against them
Seriously I wouldn't want him for free
Looked like he was done |

Or - Classic "works under a car" on an assembly line injury. I was diagnosed with bi-lateral sprains in my wrists, elbows and shoulders, a torn right deltoid, and a herniated disk in my neck. I have permanent damage to my axillary nerve. I still have tennis elbow on both sides. Steroids would actually have probably helped with my recovery but I did PT.
I will never sacrifice my own health for a job again. That's for damn sure. Physical or mental.
When I got my medical diagnosis last year around this time, I took 3 HR employees into a room and absolutely let them hear it for 45 minutes. I didn't yell, raise my voice, swear, or anything. I just very sternly gave them a piece of my mind. I fully expected to be fired. Instead, they gave me a week of paid vacation and 3 months of free physical therapy and work restrictions - and that was without Worker's Comp even getting involved. And then Worker's comp paid for all my medical bills. I quit the day my physical therapy ended. On the spot.
Some people beat themselves into the ground for a middle-class wage, no matter how grueling the work is. I have permanent damage and I'm lucky I only have the occasional stiff neck and numbness when I wake up. At it's worst, I was literally laying in bed all night, writhing in pain, audibly whimpering, unable to sleep, with completely numb arms from the shoulder down on both sides... And I knew of at least half a dozen co-workers from the same department with the same exact problems, give or take.
A guy walked off the assembly line and had a heart-attack and they found him laying there after god knows how long. People got hit by fork trucks and killed, or sent flying. People passed out from exhaustion on the line and got dragged off while the rest of the workers got screamed at to keep working and not to stop the line... BRICK KILLED A GUY.
Seriously, you have no idea what a labor camp these automobile factories are. I reached out to and talked to hundreds of people who've worked in the auto industry or even multiple union reps...
They all say the same thing. This is happening to tens of thousands of people a year so us fat-(frank) Americans can drive our stupid asses nowhere all the God damn time. Well, if you drive a Honda especially, (frank) you. But I know for a fact that there have been exposées written by ex employees and office workers and journalists that have been blacklisted and suppressed by the mother corporations because of how bad the conditions are in these factories.
But no you're right I was actually injecting a non-vaccine into my body and shredding weights at the gym with all my closet buddies who suck each other off in the sauna. |

Roid rage!!!
Seriously though, i am happy you discovered living to work is a fool's game.
Edit: that's too simple a statement. If your work fulfills you, live to work. Most middle class people do not fit into that. |

Pound for pound, the Sabres did a much better job for Miller than Ottawa did for Neil.
1. Better intro video
2. The KBC was full at the start. There are still empty seats in Ottawa right now and it was half empty at the start.
3. More alumni for Buffalo showed up.
Not a bad job by Ottawa (except the fans who were way late), but the Sabres hit a home run. |
