Strange coming out of 7-3 with concerns, but they managed to do that.

Mitts, Krebs, Quinn is either going to be really good or really bad. I don't see them just being a neutral line. It could get wild out on the ice when they're out there. - lacaprup
Krebs - 1g 1a +2
Quinn - 2a +3
Mitts - 1g 1a +3
Damn I'm good. |

For those of you that think the Sabres cannot make trades this year and still continue to develop - sabrebuzz
I'm not sure anyone actually thinks this. They just don't want to admit Adams could be doing much better. |

I gotta give it up for TSN 1200 Ottawa. They talk hockey. They do a decent job at it. Free stream via the TSN app.
You also get 1050 Toronto
690 Montreal and
1260 Edmonton
I give high marks to Ottawa and Montreal for the bits I've listened to. |

Is Mitts a solid player now? |

Krebs last night had some nice assists. He has been setting his line mates up all year with Okposo and girgensons. But they don’t know how to finish |

Is Mitts a solid player now? - Fattony1187
We'll see how he does against San Jose (easy),
Toronto, Tampa, Florida, Washington (hard, hard, hard, hard).
This is crunch time. If Mitts ever wanted to win over the doubters, these 5 games are when you do it. |

Feom an absolute nadir, Peyton Krebs has really rebounded this year. Remember when he went 4 games without a shot on net? It’s 100% the best thing 28 and 21 did this year: helping Krebs find his game. |

I went from someone who called in a few times a week to someone who listens to Sabres live and that's about it. Granted, I'm not a Bills fan, not an NFL fan in general, but they fact this station can't give the Bills and the NFL a two week break.... it speaks to their lack of ability.

Chris Neil night in Ottawa. I really like what they're doing for him. I (frank)ing hated him. He is the first Sen i think of when I think of that franchise.
I wouldn't mind at all if 32 were retired. |

I would still use him as a chip if it was the right deal. |

Good rebound game last night. It wasn't perfect but it didn't need to be as they were just trying to continue to get the ship righted.
Random observations:
- Bosh has been much better lately. I wonder if he was hurt more than we knew.
- I don't have fancy stats to back this up but Clague does seem to be noticeably better than Bryson
- It was good to see several players wake up from extended dry spells. I am still a bit concerned about Peterka
- Krebs has some dawg in him. I was not a fan but more and more I think that he has a real chance to be part of the long-term solution.
- We don't have "three goalies". we have one starter, a vet backup and a lottery ticket for next year that they probably should put on the shelf until then. I suspect now that Anderson and Comrie got their starts that they are going to roll with UPL for the next week +.

Way too many numbers retired as it is. He is a great guy that had a nice career.... doesn't belong anywhere near the rafters.

Oh sure, i'm not beating down doors for it, but he's done more for the Sabres than a couple folk in the rafters. |

Not just to move him |

Mitts seems to be playing harder and a bit better as of late. He is still a disaster on defense. Though I would not rush to trade him, I believe his recent play has elevated his trade value and I would not hesitate for a second, were I in the position to do so, to make him part of a trade package for a more complete, consistent, productive player. But I am no longer pining for the Sabres to remove him from the team. Actually, I would keep him over Olofsson especially since Olofsson I believe would fetch more in a trade. |

assuming tage, skinner, tuch, peterka, cozens and quinn are 6 of your 9 fixtures in your top 9
is casey a better long term fit than our 15 prospects to round out the top 9, esp with the lack of D casey plays?
