they mentioned on TVA sports that Monahan has reached a "plateau" in his recovery, and that he still feels very uncomfortable on the ice. oy vey.
- Pat1993

so which one will be shut down first? Monahan or TVA Sports?

ouch lol... yeah they already fired some people at TVA, apparently Peladeau is losing millions by keeping the channel running, I would've thought that with some sponsor deals here and there they'd be able to at least keep it afloat.

of course I'd be happy to have all the habs games on RDS again but I don't necessarily want TVA sports to shut down, having fewer channels that do sports coverage in QC isn't really a good thing.

meh, it's been brought up in here a lot but unless there's an insanely good offer on the table I'd rather keep him.

that's a very manageable cap hit and contract length.

HuGo see him as a vet helping the rebuild, keeping some games like tonight closer. Unless they get a huge offer, he is not going anywhere, like Anderson.

I wonder though what the plan is with Primeau, it would suck to lose him for nothing.

The plan was for him to take over the #2 job but he struggled with injuries this year and Monty is playing well. Pruneau is doing much better lately in Laval. He has a one way deal for next season…

right, his contract ends in 2024-25... I thought I heard the habs could lose him, not sure what that's about anymore lol.

if you want to send him to Laval next September, he'll have to go through waivers. so they could lose him for nothing while keeping Allen at 3.8M. woohoo

that's why many say trade Allen now, get something for him, and go with Monty and Primeau. asset management.
but with that 2y extension to Allen... not easy.

you say that like it was a turrible thing. I guess I'm among the very few on the "keep Allen" bandwagon, oh well.
