Got bored so I decided to take a gander at whats going on in the AHL.
Well, Hartford doesnt have a player in the top 100 in scoring in the league.
However, Zac Jones does have 21 pts in 32 games, which aint too shabby.
Will Cuylle has 16 goals now |

I follow the New York based teams and can tell you, the Rangers are a legit top 5 hockey team in the NHL. It's going to happen, when a hot goalie steals a win. 50+ shots tells you the story on tonight's game. First game back after a western roadtrip often causes teams to be off.

Theyve been off the whole week, Shesty since the break.
I have faith in this team, and Im sure things will come around.
Hellebuyck stole the game for them, it happens. |

Yeah, 'cause that's the problem
Stop worrying about the name on the back of the jersey. Vesey has looked like a top 6 player almost every game this year. He has been a relentless, in your face checker, solid defensively and shown really good hands and decision making in tight areas. Definitely not his natural fit, but he has certainly not been part of the problem. |

Jan, I saw what you're saying with Leschyschyschyschyschyn. But, he still barely made an impact. I was watching him intently every shift and he was hesitant almost everywhere on the ice. Not committing enough to be a factor very often before the puck was passed him and up ice. Hope he can figure that out. |

He stinks. Period. End of story. 35 games this year between VGK and NYR, not a single point. U can’t tell me Brodzinski can’t do better. |

I wouldn't even try.
I know Bonino and Bjugstadt are proven commodities, but I'd be ok if they were just using 15 for a while to allow Jonny Brodway to get a few more weeks in with bigger minutes before bringing him back up. |

I honestly don’t care what people say, rangers played a great game last night. Controlled the puck and play, Fired 51 shots on Hellybuck or however you spell it. Just have to give him credit he stole the game. This team is still 8-1-2 over there last 11.
Biggest thing is they need Igor to find his game. Has looked off for a bit now |

He only has one shutout this year. Think he had 5 or 6 last year |

Yep, it happens. With the exception of Shesty the team played well and was beaten by Helly who had a solid game. End of story. |

Brodzinski is a far more aggressive skater, forechecker & two way responsible center than the pointless & (-3) rated Leschyshyn. But in his 16 games when up earlier this season, Brodzinski himself only tallied 1-G & 1-A for 2 points, though was the exact opposite of the former with a (+3) rating due to his strengths mentioned above. He also won over 50% of his faceoffs, which is the only plus that Leschyshyn contributes in winning just shy of 50% of his taken.
I feel that Drury is attempting to find the best experienced 4th line center by the deadline. But being cap strapped with just over $900K roughly of deadline cap space I recall after re-acquiring Motte ($1.35M cap hit) on Sunday with Gauthier's $800K cap hit heading to Ottawa, Drury must rid of Leschyshyn's $767K cap hit remaining for two more seasons. He may also have to create even greater additional space pending the deadline option(s) he is considering. |

The problems they have started in Vancouver. Got a little lucky they were able to outscore the defensive and goalie issues they had until Calgary. (Halak not an issue in that game. Played well.) They had 3 brutal turnovers last night. All 3 resulted in goals against. Pretty simple. |

Miller struggled defensive wise on scattered shifts, starting very early in taking another delay of game penalty, (puck over the glass), resulting in the Jets' first goal 5:12 in for their struggling power play of recent entering the game, and the Rangers starting out from behind once again. |

Right now, I think the best thing for the team is to just shut Shesterkin, Zibanejad, Trouba, Panarin, Fox, and Tarasenko down for the year. |

LMAO. What world do you live in?
1 - NYR has plenty to play for, playoffs arent locked in yet, and they don't want to slip to wild card, and may still have chance to move up the standings.
2- players can't be sat for long periods of time without I'll effects on theor play. NYR needs all players firing on all cylinders by time playoffs come.
