https://montrealgazette.com/business/hydro-quebec-posts-record-4-56-billion-profit-for-2022-says-dividend-will-be-largest-ever - AGalchenyuk27
Favourable conditions on export markets played a major part in the profit improvement. Hydro-Québec sold its power outside the province for an average of 8.2 cents per kilowatt-hour in 2022, up from the five-cents average recorded a year earlier.
so yeah, the cold weather has generated more profit for Hydro, but exportations had a lot to do with it as well.

Well there are programs that end up costing you less if you use most of your watts during less busy hours.
I signed up, it does make a difference on the bill and I guess it helps them as well so it's a win/win.
I go to bed pretty late so I just have to learn to turn it on before I go to sleep.

It is better to keep the indebted servants hidden between 6AM and Midnight. So no, keep the dishwasher usage after midnight.

I think records have been broken or are close to being broken all around Quebec.

I wouldn't mind it that much if my dishwasher wasn't so damn noisy, but turning it on late at night wouldn't make sense for me or for my neighbours living on the floor below me lol. besides I live in a not so big apartment, so I already don't have a huge hydro bill and I doubt it would go much lower than it already is... |

I've signed up for the "credit" and with minor adjustements, I make 2-3$ a day (or save) 40-60 per month / 80/120 per bill!

come on. I know you like to point out that Bergevin was the most turrible GM ever, and I agree that Price was overpaid considering the cap, but I highly doubt Montembeault will ever be as good as Carey lol.

Glass window in the woods/mounts on a lake up north... need to find every creative ways to save some $ since its (frank)ing cold up here for long stretches. First bill for a month last year was 488$... now I'm around 230 for winter months
Gotta say that burning wood helps! |

I know that, I exagerated a bit.
The point I was trying to make is paying 10 mil to any goalie is ludicrous and shows bad judgment. |

yeah, depends on how you build the team in front of him, Vasilevskiy's contract is very similar and doesn't look that bad.

I'm not expecting anything frankly, his hands are kinda tied up by the injuries to our "marketable" players .. and no one wants our overpaid junk (ie.: Hoffman, Armia or Drouin).
The only one I could see traded is Josh Anderson if the return is really great ... not that I want him gone, far from it. |

Andy is going nowhere. If he's traded, who will miss five glorious scoring chances every game? And believe me, he's a huge favorite of mine, but the guy has the hands of a mason.
I think someone would take Armia for PK and fourth line duties, as long as HuGo retain salary. Then again, who knows if he will be healthy. |

It will have to be some trick, with the current injury situation... |
