Yep! I’d get mad at it because I thought it was broken. That’s how quiet it is.

Our normal day to day dB exposure usually starts at 65db and depending on what stimuli you encounter and can spike.

So you can imagine how quiet that is!? And dBs are measured differently as it’s a multiplication rather than simply going up one at a time like a stereo volume.

So it’s exponential growth essentially

Sky high ticket prices and advertisements everywhere (ie. boards and now jerseys) ... next they'll tatoo ads on the inside of your eyelids when you get to the arena.

I now prefer watching the juniors over the NHL.

For me, it is the constant betting segments embedded into the broadcasts /. reporting... Saturday night Games have turned into Bet Night in Canada.

For sure! I agree. Even on highlight shows they’re showing odds and projections, in-game bets, parlay’s and the like.

the difference is now the player get paid their value instead of being tied to one team. once that was removed the prices were always going to rise because now the owners want/need more revenue to either make a profit or raise the ROI. Add in most teams have minority owners due to the cost of buying a franchise causing the need to give investors returns to attract more investors and on and on.
