Lot of misinformation here.
For starters, - TommyHawk[a motivated] Kane is a significantly better asset than Tarasenko is. Kane's hip "injury" is much ado about nothing. It has "hampered" him for a couple seasons now, and this was just rubbish thrown out there to decrease his value. There have been questions about how hard he is playing because of how bad this team is - not because of his hip.
The Hawks have scored the fewest amount of goals in the NHL. The best player Kane has skated with this year is *checks notes* Max Domi. I'd say it's kind of difficult to put points up when you're skating with bottom-six forwards all season.
Putting 88 on a line with Panarin is the best thing the NYR could do for their offense. They were the best duo in the NHL when they were together.

Copp when he was traded to the Rangers:
Kane now.
- tomburton99
Are you comparing Kane now with Copp from last year? I sure wished Copp did more in the playoffs.
Maybe see what Kane was last year with Copp from last year. |

Would rather get another 4th liner over Kane but If they got him for not a big cost how could you not be excited? Would be wild the excitement at MSG going forward |

Decision and Kravs have to go to even conceivably fit Kane, so ship them out with a pick to Chicago, and a pick or prospect for the sucker team and plan the parade.
Seriously not opposed to this scenario if it happens as long as the picks and prospect are low. Almost feel as though it's going to happen.

The lineup with him is probably the best forward group they’ve ever had. Better than ‘94. It’s hard to compare eras, but our 4 lines would be ridiculous (assuming health obviously) - Slimtj100
Yes, a 175 lb, 34 year old with a bad hip is exactly the player we need to add for the grueling, physical style of play that the playoffs require. Add as much offense as possible with the disregard for defense bc the playoffs are all about winning games 7-6 and 6-5. |

Oh no! However will a 175 lb 3x SC champion perform in the postseason?!?
132 postseason points in 136 games clearly signifies he isn’t ready for the big stage.
Get moar Ryan Reeves and Andrew Copp types! Those are the guys worth premium for at the deadline because playoff hockey turns into a boxing match! |

Davidson won't trade kane for less than what he believes is his value. he will let him walk before that.
since reading is a skill. kane will decide on one team at a time. not just one team. and i wouldn't put it past kane to nix a deal he doesn't feel is fair value for both him and the hawks. |

Add another team for a possible Kane or Meier acquisition. VEGAS.
Kevin Weekes reported late this afternoon the Coyotes traded defenseman Dyson Mayo to the VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS in exchange for a 5th Rd. Pick in the 2023 draft and the CONTRACT of defenseman Shea Weber. |

yeah, like any pick after the 1st round is much different than letting a player walk or trading him for the likes of bums like gaudette and blais. |

It certainly does, Fenrir, and for the Rangers as well to simply proceed to improve their 4th line at center.

Hawks haven’t been to the postseason in 3 years, but he still put up 9 points in 9 games as at 31.
He also played a full year (albeit a shortened season) in 20-21; 78 games last year; and on pace for 78 this year.
So remind me how injured he is again? |
