I don’t believe it. All we’ve heard for months is he’d be a Ranger. Recently he was upset that team got a different player, and now he’s atill pushing to come here. The one team that barely can fit him, he wants to come to.
This is all about Paranin. He wants to play with him and he can’t do that anywhere else. - Slimtj100
Exactly, how many other guys is he shooting pucks at around the league in warmups? They have quite the bromance, it's a lot more fun to go to work with your best friend everyday, especially when he makes your job easier. Add in the allure of the Garden in the playoffs and it makes sense why he came out and mentioned he was upset about seeing us get tank. |

Are you comparing Kane now with Copp from last year? I sure wished Copp did more in the playoffs.
Maybe see what Kane was last year with Copp from last year. - fish_hoof
It’s simple…we can beat any team in the league, in a 7 game series, with Patrick Kane. At worst, it’s a helluva lot easier. Find a team that would have a better forward group 1-12. Not Boston, not the avalanche, not Toronto. I could go on and on
We ended up traded a first for Copp ffs, why should he be any different? - Slimtj100
I didn't. I simply provided the Facts. Thanks Fish!

no matter how badly TJ wants Kane to happen, or how badly Tom is against it...
it wont have any bearing on whether or not it happens
I think you've both said your peace on this topic enough times at this point
Now we just sit and wait.
But, just to recap
I know TJ wants Kane and I know Tom doesn't want him. |

Would you be even a little excited to see Kane play in NY? - JRR1285
No. We've seen this movie before. Look at guys like
MSL, Brad Richards, Nik Antrapov, Olli Jokinen, Eric Staal. All listed, with the outlier of Eric Staal were good for the most part with the Rangers.
Eric Staal wasn't even injured. He was just a piss baby about being here. I was/am excited about Tarasenko, most of his underlying metrics before the Trade were good. They are still good now.
Not the case with Kane. That's why I'm against it. He's not engaged, in a western Conference that isn't as good as the eastern Conference. Plus nobody know what's really going on with his hip.

I know we hate this topic. We really do. I hate how people can't process the stats I'm giving them and just see a name. It's why I never initiate the topic.
But we just went through/are going through 8 pages of it. This game tonight, and impending frustrating loss tonight cannot arrive soon enough. |

yes we know you dont like him and will root against him if he becomes a Ranger so you can "win" the argument. now please stop. Im not a big fan of getting him either but once he is here, like Jimmy said, Im all in.

Hot take.
Olli Jokinen, not terrible with the Rangers. Just had that one bad moment at the worst possible. (Torts not going with Gaborik in that spot, never understand why.) |

tend to agree there. a rental was put into the position that he needed to score to make the playoffs... kinda odd |

Me stop? Did you just skip the last 5 pages? Do I want the Rangers to win a championship? Yes. Adding players that are terrible at 5 on 5 seems like the exact opposite way to do that. They already have one in Jake Leschyshyn, I do not want anymore. |

I do think both sides have merit. I am staying in the middle on this one. I am not going to get all worked up over something that is so unlikely to happen.
But I would sure as poop be excited to see how it pans out. At least Leschyshyn would be in the press box. |

Blibbity Blabbity Bloobity aka bull poop
He’s been engaged for about week now..he’s actually the hottest player in the sport. Matter of fact, he’s taking his bum hip and shoving it up everyone’s ass |

That's the biggest issue right now. His only redeeming quality is that he's on the right side of faceoffs. That cannot be the end all be all for him. He's terrible. |

I want to make a guarantee that if Kane came here his chart would likely turn blue, at least purple. |

Hopefully. But you saw me post Mccabe's metrics yesterday. Both players play on the same terrible team. Only major differences are the positions and age. So where is the disconnect? That's rhetroical. I don't expect you to know. |
