busy morning, lots of testing going on because of an inexperienced development team lol. hope things are quiet on your side, sucks being busy when you're tired.

Other than injuries, Matheson has come in as advertised. I am not sure I see him traded this year, that is a manageable contract for what he brings.

I think Savard has a greater chance to be dealt (and I think that is small) than Matheson, but who knows... the right deal comes along and poop happens.

I'd rather keep Savard, but I guess if the offers are interesting enough...

I do not think either are going anywhere.

I expect little to no movement from the Habs. There is always a chance of or something massive and unexpected, but I just do not see it.

I do think the off-season is going to be crazy, depending on where the Habs pick selections land in the first round.

Brits are (frank)ing insane

Atherstone Ball Game

The Atherstone Ball Game, an annual event in the Warwickshire town of Atherstone, is essentially a game of medieval football. Every year on Shrove Tuesday, which can fall between February 2 and March 9, it is customary to play this game.

Long Street, Atherstone's major thoroughfare, serves as the action's hub. Each Shrove Tuesday at 3pm, a famous person—usually one with links to the area—throws a huge ball from the second floor balcony of "the Connie," the town's Conservative Club.

Two hours later, at 5 pm, the whistle signals the end of the Atherstone Ball Game. Whoever holds control of the ball when the whistle is blown is the winner of the game.

When did the first Atherstone Ball Game take place?

On February 21, 2023, the Atherstone Ball Game will be played (Shrove Tuesday). According to local custom, the game should start at 3pm, with the whistle being blown and the winner being announced at 5pm.

this is the 823rd edition.

Every year, the Atherstone Ball Game is played to commemorate a medieval football match between Leicestershire and Warwickshire that took place in 1199. A bag of gold was utilized as the ball between the two teams, and Warwickshire won that game.

The first Atherstone Ball Game took place in 1199, and 2023 marks its 823rd iteration.

that's the ball, they throw it in the crowd for 2hrs, they have to stay on the same street, the one holding the ball at the end of 2hrs wins, only rule, not allowed to kill someone.
