These are the type of deals I like. No real risk at all in losing what they gave up and swinging for the fences. Kravtsov has talent and was picked at 9OA for a reason, this could hopefully be a Markus Naslund type steal of a deal.

I explained it a few times waiting for OEL to be bought out is senseless. The gain for waiting to buy him out is almost negative.

The only reason you don't buy him out is because you are putting him on LTIR and he never plays again for this team.

Mini has explained it also, sitting on your hands wasting good value years on Petey and Kuz is a waste. Mgmt said it will take two years well next and it is year two next year.

On paper and through his career, to that date, OEL was much better than Edler. I didn't have a crystall ball or access to his medical records.
