I just hope it isn’t Cuylle. It will lose a massive amount of its luster

Luke Schenn is a right handed dman that can't play on his off side. So who are you taking out of the lineup for him?
- GPHawksfan

Unless I recall incorrectly, I thought Luke Schenn has played at times on the Left side as well sufficiently on defense when needed there during his career. At last year's deadline, Drury acquired the RH shooting former Sharks back liner in Right side d'man Justin Braun from the Flyers, who worked out well playing LD alongside Schneider, including through their extended postseason.

I agree. If they give away their best assets I'll change my tune. Right now I'm cautiously excited.

I just want to know what the deal is with lindgren and what the plan is if he is indeed out until the playoffs (or longer)

Kane will make way more of a difference than Tarasenko will. Kane has been a pouty little female dog all year because Dach and Debrincat got traded, if he's motivated again he'll produce.
- GPHawksfan

Is be being a b!tch or does he feel betrayed by his GM and owner for saying theyre not in a rebuild?

Anybody from Hartford sitting out tonight? You would think Jones would sit if he's being traded. If not, maybe someone from your reserve list will be in the trade.

No thanks. He is no better at this stage than either of Schneider's partners used. Luke Schenn is a better option, but not enough of one should Lindgren be out long term.

You are mistaken on Kulikov… he’s solid and safe - on the Rangers he would fit nicely on your 3rd pair - perhaps even sliding to 2nd pair on occasions-

To make it happen they'd likely need to trade Harpur and get 50% retention on Kulikov.

I'm not saying that Kane would fail if becoming a Ranger. Given mainly another embarrassing defensive performance, and Lindgren's UBI suffered despite Gallant stating he's out just "day to day" (at least "for now"), acquiring Kane will not rectify those issues, nor be the sole difference that will take them to the promised land.

You may be correct about Tarasenko in the end. But that is the chance Drury may now have to take, given otherwise "Warrior" Lindgren's injury, & the team's poor defensive play both by some forwards and half of their back liners over their past 11 games, despite somehow being 7-3-1 in that span. Yielding 17 goals over their last 4 consecutive games' losses (0-3-1) is of most concern, along with Shesty's play in net allowing 4 or more goals in each of his last 4 starts among their last 6 games.

Usually not too long, its something that would usually heal on its own. Really depends on the severity of the disruption in the AC joint.

Even a fractured collarbone would have him back mid to late April...hoping for the best

Was curious about Kulikov's numbers...

Kulikov has a relative equal amount of TOI as Lindgren. They have the same amount of points. Kulikov has more blocked shots and hits than Lindgren. The only major difference is +/-, but playing on Anaheim will do that to you. When he was on Wild the year before with a decent team he was a +20 player with 100/100.

Who was your GM when you guys took Lias Andersson? That also was a terrible top ten pick.
- GPHawksfan

Yeah but they turned that into cuylle which worked out well

The way Lindgren plays, Id be afraid to put him back out there too soon if its a fractured collarbone.

Looked like he was holding his left forearm when he left the ice. No glass where he hit the boards, might be broken.

If you ever notice any time someone dislocates something in the arm/shoulder, they always hold the arm like that. Im hoping thats all it is. Unfortunately with dislocating shoulders, once you do it once, it can become chronic requiring surgery to repair the labrum.

That’s also the collarbone look. Witnessed a few. Had a kid snap his collarbone in practice in front of me and sounded like someone snapped a big branch. Nasty

Collarbone, separated shoulder (AC joint tear)... yup, they all look the same.
