This is why Im not sure, even if Lindgren is out for a while, they put him on LTIR.

The only way it works is if they trade a current Dman for someone else making similar money +/- 200k.

There is no reason to be loyal to Mikkola. The benefit of LTIR is he’ll be fresh for the playoffs. Can they do that without needing to do that tho? Like does Lindgren need to ok it? Obviously can’t do anything illegal

Honestly, all this makes it very hard to enjoy getting a player on this team that Ive been a big fan of.

This isnt a video game, you cant just swap out a low overall for a higher overall and expect the simulation to work out how you want it. Sorry, this is real life, with real people.
