If the nhl had any foresight they’d do everything they could to change the paradigm. Move to an À la carte model. Capitalize on the shift to streaming services.

The NHL, NBA, and MLB should all figure out a way to sell every game with zero blackouts, in a single platform, to a consumer who wants to pay for it. The fact this very simple and obvious solution has been avoided at all costs by all three leagues speaks to how sickeningly greedy they all are.

I'll never forget when MLB told me I can purchase their product, but, becaue i have the gall to live in Buffalo, NY I would be barred from seeing the Yankees, Mets, Indians, and Pirates. Only some twisted, greedy, slimy fùcks would keep a system like for near 20 years now.
