Talbot has a 69% quality start percentage which is 4th in the NHL behind Linus Ullmark, Connor Hellebuyck, and Filip Gustavsson. - ImThatGuy
Good idea, you want to tim Murray this team .
Go complain to your dogs, keep your tears away from hockeybuzz
the best thing the sabres have going for them is secondary scoring
because of that I would not move casey or olofsson at the deadline - homiedclown
I’ve been saying that. Keep the band together and don’t break up the offense
If it isn’t broken. Don’t mess with it

Adams has meetings lined up all day. He just got home from Florida with the team.
He did a lot of observing. Watching player interaction and other stuff

you have to move something of value to get that d man and maybe that goalie
I'd look to moving picks/prospects to go with the throw in of comrie or joker to improve that part of the roster
and not for a rental

Would you consider mitts or olofsson "valuable".
Why can't we move one of the recent 1st round picks and/or future picks?

I'm not as down on Joker as a lot of others here. I wouldn't let it affect the right trade, but I'd prefer to keep him simply because pushing Clague and Bryson down the depth chart/off the roster is also a win.

for this season and secondary scoring
I consider casey and olofsson valuable
I want to build on what we have to finish the season
I am fine if they move casey and or olofsson in the offseason when we have kulich and savoie ready to take their spots
I think that those 2 prospects should be our only untouchable ones not playing with the big club as of now
if johnson does not sign, we will need a decent d man in the offseason no matter what
assuming anderson retires, we will need an upgrade in not for 2023-24 season no matter what
I am all for getting that d help and goalie now as long as they are not rentals

Kulich should be the only prospect considered untouchable.
Savoie I have a suspicion might just not fit here. Not saying he will be a bust

This is a really good post.
Absolutely agree with mitts and olofsson being more of an offseason trade.
It's not like we need to send salary back to make a deadline trade.
I'm expecting very little, hope I'm suprised

Kane sent back to Chicago from west coast - Anderdog
Gotta think the Sabres have more players and prospects that might entice chicago then say the rangers...
Sounds like its ny or nothin' for pk88 though.
I understand the importance of Olofsson’s presence on PP1 moving forward, however, the only thing he’s done at 5v5 the last few weeks is make Cozens invisible.

Well I included Jeannot in that trade AGM. But if we want to really TM this thing.
Olofsson to Vegas 50% Retained and there 2nd Back for.
Vegas's 1st 2023 and Kaedan Korczak
Then:
SJ: Buff 2023 1st Vegas 2023 1st Joker and Rights to Portillo

You will get Jeff Petry instead and like it!!!
This forum is ridiculous.
1. Reinhart does not suck. He had some great shifts out there last night. I'm pleased with the way the Sabres handled him.
2. There is a more than a fair amount of distance between simply advocating for a trade because this team has both glaring deficiencies and a deep prospect pipeline, and "TM'ing" our future.
3. The bickering and whining from boomer-age grown-arse men is embarrassing. Not to mention the C-grade juvenile puns. If you were smarter you'd be aware of how you sound. Be smarter. You're welcome.
4. I was vacillating between Meier and Chychrun. I'm now on the chicken-man train. He would fit perfectly on this team. - SoCalPucks
Its all in good fun. Not a big fan of some of the low blows. Wish some of the guys giving people sh*t now would remember they do the same thing. No ones innocent. Give take move on.
Im sure if we all met up for beer we would be laughing about all this bickering.
