Cross-checked in the spine 2 games in a row will do that - BeadyEyedDouche
Top 5 gm time to do top 5 gm stuff. Dahlin obviously has a concussion. Can't believe he came back in the game Saturday. Shocking none of our 5'9" guys clubbed Verhaeghe |

Even if they clubbed Verhagee, how does that solve anything ?
Does that all of a sudden heal Dahlin’s concussion if Verhagee gets put on a stretcher afterwords ? |

He would not get crossed checked in the spine ever if we had Wilson or comparable |

It's sends a message to rest of the (frank)ing league. Why wouldn't Verhaeghe scum him? He watched Tampa do it the night before with zero repercussions. |

Didn't you strongly advocate for Girgensons to scum players every single game, even if it resulted in 'incidental' injuries? |

Tom Wilson turned into a very good player. He was who I wanted that draft and was talked about as a target for our 2nd 1st that year. Traded up for the lion eater instead |

If having a goon on your roster prevented scummy hits, then we’d never see any of this across the NHL.
Yet, even teams that have goons still have their skilled guys roughed up, hence the reason they are employed in the first place.
The Sabres scored on both the PP’s resulting from those hits in question, and won both games.
That’s how to extract revenge. |

Dreger said trade should happen today. - ImThatGuy
what player are we talking about coming to Buffalo? |

No, no it's not. That's what losers tell themselves as their best player misses games.

When was the last time we hurt the best player on another team with a dirty hit? You know, because goons don't matter. |

How many cheap shots did John Scott prevent ?
Pat Kaleta ?
Like ffs man I’m upset that Dahlin isn’t playing today either but having goons solves nothing.

Risto.
Having a Wilson (not a goon) and a tougher team keeps guys in check. Bad hits will happen, but consequences will follow. We had zero answer for the best D man getting plowed from behind. Zero answer |

How many roads must a man walk? How could anyone answer that? I know for a fact I've watched my best player get scummed two games in a row with ZERO RESPONSE, and now he's hurt. Shocker. |

You're god damn right.
It's part of the NHL, it's been part of the NHL for 100 years. We need to participate fully and not just receive the consequences. |

So, to be clear, Lindy shouldn't have gone with Kaleta, Mair and Peters right? |

Well maybe it is, heard the Sabres made a call last night after they found out about Tuch. Probably checking the price. - Buff36
This should be a real eye opener for the FO... WTF do we do now...there is nobody like him.
Go get a Meier and Crouse type to elevate/switch as necessary. We have 207 soft fast Players/Prospects who could fill in for JJ, Quinn (far less soft) on the wing, we will have C's soon who could step in and replace Tage for several games (Savoie, Kulich, Ostund), Krebs and Jost replace each other. Pylons for Girgs and Okposo. (Cue a Hatty for each today).
Wake the (frank) up FO! You won't be able to play 60% often guys coming up. Meier and Crouse are guys we pray these Prospects will turn into...and will be very lucky if they do.
Fvcking guys are 25/26 not 32. |
