Honestly, we are scoring in buckets. We need to stop allowing goals, is more of a need then scoring more. (Of course scoring more can help too).

Vinnie and Quinn were perfect in their roles today. That was seamless. If the Sabres do make a deadline move for a depth defenseman, I would expect Asplund to be part of the package. Vinnie is just a better fit for the team

in a vaccum I do wish the Sabres were competitive in the timo trade, but I think there's bigger needs. (for the cost)

It's great we got Tage and cozens for a good deal however, it may be bad also. How would you justify paying Timo 9 a year and Tage 7 ? Tage is 40 goals already.

We talked about this the other day. I feel it's bad business to decline bringing in a more expensive guy if he makes your team significantly better. I don't think Kev would decline a guy more expensive than tage simply because of the cost either. But I see the angle.

Internally, I don't think you pay a forward more than tage.

But for the cap and asset cost of Timo, I think the Sabres can address different areas.
