Everyone remain calm. Adams is monitoring things. - homiedclown
Despite all of the female dogging over the last 2 years, Adams has shown that he has played all of this perfectly. 31 - 23 on Feb 26, and the best part of it is that the kids are the ones doing it. How many players has this board run out of town? He rehabilitated all of them. Hell, even Mitts looks good again. You all keep doubting him and he has made the right moves (and non-moves) every step of the way.
That said.... go get Connor Murphy. We are fine on forward but still badly needing a D.
This team could of folded after the toronto game especially with Tampa and Florida the next 2 games after.
For a super young team thats extremely impressive.
I say ride this out as is. Cant bring in another goalie. Maybe a depth defenseman. Not a fan of getting chickenman cause the youngest teams in the league dont trade there 1st round picks. Ever. Recipe for disaster.
Feel like our defense has been playing much better last 3 games. Toronto was a wake up call. There gonna have more rough games with this schedule. Gonna come down to the wire.
My prediction is Girgs scores the OT winner last game of the year to get us into the playoffs. Boss ends his life knowing it cant get better than that.

I don’t see it this way at all.
I think the Sabres would be comfortably in a playoff spot, pretty much coasting to the playoffs if he did anything serious about the goaltending position and bottom D positions this past offseason.
It is different though for people like Adams or even yourself who have shown that winning isn’t what’s important (and I don’t mean this to sound snarky)

No, I get what you are saying. By that logic shouldn't he have been shopping last year? We just disagree when it is time to hit the gas. In my view (and probably his) our best shot at winning a championship (which is why we are here) is to keep letting the kids grow. We've seen huge jumps in points over the last 2 years and these kids are getting better faster than any of us could have hoped. Let the kids play in all of the pressure spots over the next few weeks. If Granato hadn't done that the last 2 years we don't have the advancement in the players that we've seen. Can you imagine if someone had been brought in to play 2c and PP last offseason? We wouldn't have had this version of Cozens.
I didn't always like it but I get why Adams is letting this group ride it out. All 4 lines were great today. I think Quinn takes a Cozens-sized leap next year. Power was ridiculous today. Unless we can make a hockey trade to bring in another younger player lets keep letting them grow.
