No sense in trading away premium assets for that type of player. Schen or a Murphy type will be just fine and cost far less.

I have really liked Jost with the Old Guys. They look cohesive, live they all know their rolls. Jost has been an important bottom 6 player since he got here.

What do you mean, he could partner with Dahlin or Power. He can play both sides. He makes your Top 4 alot stronger and Joker drops down to 12min a game with Lyubushkin until Johnson is ready. Yes the assets to get him could be a non go, but he would definitely make us better.

Why, in a few years his deal is done and if you were smart enough you drafted a couple Dman and atleast one is ready to go at that point. I wouldn't pay 2 1st for him, but to say he wouldn't help is ridiculous.

He has more pts and a better +/- on a worse team than Ekholm.

Costs far less in cap and to acquire.

I just want a Schenn type. A bottom pairing vet D that can move up and down the lineup if needed.
