What's happening 89 π
Did the Sabres become a big market , pushing the cap team recently?
Have they become a team that's gonna mortgage the future and pay another winger 9 million per year?
I'm a terrible GM, but my expectations are based on the teams efficient model.
I'll hang up and listen... |

They wouldn't pay Timo 9 mill a year or give up what was giving up for him if that's what you're asking. |

Well just a little info, but just talked with my Friend, we didn't have the D prospect they wanted and Adams wasn't willing to use the D they would have. Take it for what it's worth. - Buff36

Yankees fans waste no time booing Aaron Hicks in Spring Training game
Spring Training is a time for optimism among fans, but there does not seem to be much of that for New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks.
Yankees fans were true to mid-season form, welcoming the 33-year-old switch hitter to a chorus of boos as he stepped into the box for his first Spring Training at-bat in Tampa on Sunday.

It has become a familiar sound for Hicks as Yankees fans have seemingly lost their patience with the outfielder following an abysmal 2022 season in which he slashed .216/.330/.313 with eight home runs and 40 RBI.

Of course, Hicks has the power to change the fansβ attitude toward him.
Those boos quickly turned into cheers when Hicks lined a single into right field β a hit that would have likely been an out last year, however, a new rule banning shifts has opened up a hole in the outfield for left-handed pull hitters.
It will not just be Yankees fans Hicks will have to win over, but also the front office and his manager.
Hicks is essentially battling for the starting left field spot with Oswaldo Cabrera, who played 44 games in left last year after never playing the position previously.
But it is also a job he can easily lose in the regular season as well. The Yankees spent the offseason showing interest in several different options in left field but were unable to complete a deal for any of them.
One name in particular to watch for is Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds, who has requested a trade out of Pittsburgh and has been connected to the Yankees.
For now, all Hicks can do is focus on winning the job out of spring and trying to turn those boos into cheers as he did in his first at-bat on Sunday.

All similar. Doesn't feel like KA got that kind value. Levi's run the last couple years doesn't change his value at the time of the trade.
Likely would have been better moving him at the deadline. Timing and value haven't worked well for them.

I got sick of reading all the endless regurgitated boss posts a few months ago and have been skipping over them ever since. Many pages get mostly overlooked as a result. Now it seems as though all I'm reading are others responding to its* neverending stream of childish bullshΓ·t rhetoric.
I will be shocked if it* doesn't respond to this.
I also fully expect someone to respond to it* responding to this causing me to glance just long enough to see that it* did. |

If you look at the full detail of the trade, what did the Sharks really get for Timo?
Perhaps an extra 1st round pick?
A better prospect then Levi was at the time?
It wasn't like it was only Timo for all that the Sharks received in return.
It's a better return, yes, but Timo was a better player then Sam when each was traded. That part is clear, isn't it? |
