the bolts gave up a ton for Jeannot
but they gave up a lot for Hagel and he turned into a legit second line winger with them
49 points in 59 games , strong 2 way player
F you Botts - homiedclown
Hagel is 10x the player Jeannot is, and was prior to Tampa.
(frank) you Botts is right

Can 100% tell you they didn't want Johnson. They wanted Samuelsson and I believe Lindgren. Samuelsson was a no go. We have No depth - Buff36
The Sabres seem to be one of the few teams that does not understand the importance of defensive depth in terms of prospects. |

He showed enough in junior to absolutely give him an ELC. There was no reason not to.

They understand that it's so poor that they needed to sign 4 veterans to backfill it. |

However, Gibson is probably an improvement to UPL and Comrie.

Id be ok with it. Signed for 4 more years. Think Levi will need at least 2-3 years of grooming before hes ready for the big time. The 4th year gibson splits games with Levi. Might be a good mentor

Well it is something that really needs to be addressed, especially if nothing is done at the TDL. Offseason will be huge. |

I can tell you Sam Ventura can see advanced goalie stats on UPL and Comrie.
I don't blame them for taking a swing for Comrie. (frank)ing imagine they did that on Campbell. Yeesh o reeno. |

Is it possible that Adams values the 1st round picks more than we know (i.e. too much)? |

this is certainly a draft to do so. But we haven't seen a wild card team lose a first round pick yet besides the Islanders. They put top 12 prot on theirs.
Kevo should do the same for the right guy.
Tough to imagine he trades a 1st for the next two years. |

Maybe his analytics computer broke.
A 2 year deal for Comrie was fine. Nothing gained and nothing lost.
I feel for the dude. We tried to make him the guy and he just hasn’t proven anything |

Sabres will get a very good player this year even into the late teens early 20s. Then the meat and potatoes for D start. Those 2nds this year could be important. |

I love love loveeeee when people here say “well he wins games”. 😂😂😂
I get that but he also sucks. Anderson at 41 or 42 years old is still our best goalie

Injury also put him behind the 8-ball. I doubt they trade for a goaltender, at the deadline anyway. If Ventura and Co. are as in tune with analytics as we think they are, they should see that the precedent of acquiring one at the deadline just simply doesn't pan out.
